I bought the shampoo and conditioner together. I was worried since some of the reviews say it's too heavy and made their hair greasy but I found the opposite. It's very thick and you don't need to use much and it rinsed out easily without leaving any residue or slickness. After one use my hair feels light and bouncy. The scent is a bit strong but doesn't linger much and it's not a gross perfumey smell. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the packaging is flimsy. I don't mind that it's in a tub but I was hoping the plastic would be sturdier and the lid is awkward. Also when I received it the seal had already been broken, luckily it hadn't opened in transit and it didn't look like it had been tampered with. I wish they would put more care into packaging expensive beauty products. ... show more

When I first received this I was a little upset because this product made my hair feel greasy like a lot of the people leaving comments. I was surprised, this is the fourth product in the Davines line that I have tried and so far love them all. I decided to change up how I was using this and much to my surprise, it worked. I use a small amount of conditioner, so small I didn't think that it would actually cover all my hair, but it has worked like a charm. If you are experiencing greasy feeling hair, I suggest you only use half of what you have been using. Regarding the packaging, Davines is working on less waste for the environment so that is the reason behind this weird packaging. If you do not like it, you could get a reusable container at the drugstore and switch it over. Which would be great because now you will be using a reusable plastic container. ... show more

FINALLY! I have very fine healthy hair that I've been growing out for years. I finally found a conditioner that is ACUALLY light weight! I highly recommend if you have medium to long fine hair.

I liked how this conditioner worked. I don’t care for the packaging because I prefer a squeeze bottle instead of the plastic box w/removable top. It is too easy to miss sealing the top completely and then the conditioner dries out, gets globby and hard.
