You CAN put this dresser together! At first, I decided to purchase and chance the reviews. On step 2 of assembly, the reviews seemed to come true. There was a lot of cursing and frustration because of the plastic pieces on the screws. The screws would go in and were just spinning. On step 2 of 15, we were about to throw the thing away and eat the money. HOWEVER, what the instructions do NOT tell you is the appropriate way to put the plastic piece on. After some swapping tries back and forth with my husband, we realized the top “arch” of the plastic piece needs to go in towards the hole you are screwing. It was magic - everything moved quickly and we assembled the whole dresser in less than an hour. Without this tip, we certainly would have quit. Please learn from the picture attached, this is the WRONG position. The black plastic piece should be inverted 180 degrees. Now that the dresser is together and that we know we cannot be on a HGTV Reno show together, the dresser is beautiful and seems pretty solid. I have 2 of these that I’m using as nightstands for my king bed. The dressers are well built, sturdy, well put together and beautiful. The drawer wood felt a little flimsy in comparison to the rest of the dresser but for what I’m using it for it’s fine and the price wasn’t bad either.

This crib is very, very pretty. It took me about two hours to assemble, and I needed just a little help from my wife just to hold the mattress frame up while I screwed it in. Other than that the crib is perfect, and I love the fact how it's going to grow with my daughter as she gets bigger. For anyone who wants to know it comes in a very big box. The media could not be loaded. Problems right away. I wanted to love this dresser. Problem is the bottom left drawer is too small to stay on the tracks on both sides of the drawer. I've inspected it. can't figure it out. I tried rearranging the drawers to see if another on fit. . . .no such luck! All of the drawers are either too small to fit, or the bottom of the dresser is cut too large and nothing will fit it. . . or the hardware isn't large enough. Either way. . .this is a problem. I've reached out to the manufacturer. I am waiting on a resolution. I'll update on how they handle this issue. ... show more

For all that is holy, please put this crib IN the room where it goes before assembling! My husband and I got too excited and decided to put it together in our living room and had to promptly re-assemble it when we realized it wouldn’t fit through the door of the nursery. After doing all the research to find the best crib brand I decided to order this one, and I was extremely disappointed. I opened the box and found that one of the pieces had a dent in the wood. It wasn't awful and I thought I can deal with that since it will be hidden in a corner. I proceeded to assemble the crib and realized that all the screw threads have paint in them making it very difficult to insert the bolts. Since the threads were gummed up with paint, I ended up with bolts that were not completed tightened, stripped out bolts, and broken bolts. With all these issues I determined that this was not a safe place for my child to sleep and requested a return. The seller handled the situation very well and gave me a full refund and conveniently picked up the defective crib from my residence. ... show more

Just finished building the dresser and crib, which is the second set we have owned from DaVinci, and I must say that this is far lower quality. The drawers and their spacing do not line up, and the handles and wood arrived with imperfections and scratches. Wouldn’t buy again. Crib arrived damaged as well from the manufacturing process as there is a crack where they inserted one of the nails. Paint doesn’t extend everywhere either and there are scuffs and scratches. ... show more
