Popcorn junkie here. Trying to be more health conscious and stay away from the microwavable bags. I always end up burning some if I do it on the stovetop in a large pan no matter how well I shake and shimmy while popping. I was looking for something that wouldn't leave the bitter taste of burnt disappointment. So, first time trying a popper like this. So far, I think it works great and clean up is easy. I like that it has the rotating arm that prevents any kernels from sticking. It doesn't have an automated timer or any settings...just an on/off switch. So, you do have to watch it or listen closely. The little measuring cup gets placed on top after the popping is done and helps the dome function as a serving bowl. I thought this color was really cute and fun...but there's options. It's small enough to store on the pantry shelf right beside all the popcorn stuffs. I feel like it was worth the investment as much as I snack on popcorn and trying to have healthier options. Plus, I just like smelling and seeing homemade buttery popcorn popping on the countertop right before diving into movie night or as motivation during a study break. Maybe keeps me a little nostalgic and snacking better.

I had amazing gift cards for Crimmas and wanted a popcorn popper so bad, but didn’t wanna get one of those crazy ones (yet.) After some research, decided on this (plus it’s cute!) Not only is it cute, it’s easy to put together, easy to dismantle, easy to clean…. Easy, easy, easy!! You can use solid oils, butter, or liquid oils. You can add butter on top after you put the lid on to drop as it pops for extra butter. The cover becomes the bowl, the measuring piece pops on to the base of the bowl before you flip it to become the base of the bowl (so no drips!) The plug wraps neatly below for really easy storage, there’s an included lid that covers the top as well once it’s cooled and wiped off to store it. This is such a neat little contraption, I am really glad I splurged. It does come with a little booklet that has instructions and then at the back there’s recipes; very fun, though I haven’t used any yet. All in all, really happy with this purchase!

Okay so I bought this a few months ago and wanted to give myself and my family some time using it before making a review. So it's a proper review of it. Pros - You can adjust how much butter, oil, salt or flavor you want to put on your popcorn. So it's pretty healthy for a snack and you can eat enough to enjoy if your watching your calories or salt. My family and I really love using this to make homemade popcorn. I use butter and flavored oil so it's tasty, along with popcorn salt. Cons - This thing is made so poorly! When making the popcorn the bullets of corn being flung to the top of the bowl where the holes are they can come out. With blazing hot oil and it's no fun to be hit with. The open holes in the bottom of the bowl, while are nice to drip your butter onto your popping corn, does make things a bit dangerous. Then when you finish your popping you flip the entire thing over to keep the hot burner from burning your popcorn and as soon as you do that the oil will run down the sides of your bowl. No I'm not using too much oil or butter it's a rather small amount. Then you go to place the lid on so you can shake the popcorn salt into your popcorn. OMG..... who thought that was a good idea with greasy oil having gone down the sides and the tight fit is a struggle where you feel like your going to bust the damn thing! Hot popcorn is in the bowl and is hot to hold onto with grease making it difficult to use any strength to pop it on. So your wiping it down multiple times. You get the lid on, you shake, you go sit down on the couch to watch your movie and go to pull the lid off. You have to use your finger nails under the edge to get any leverage to pull it off because even though you've wiped the outside of the bowl down it's still greasy. Your back to worrying about breaking the bowl. But the popcorn is super tasty. So you forgive all of this. Until you go to wash everything. I have to wash it twice with soap directly on the bowl and tops to break the greasy feel from the items. Craziness! Then the base you wipe it down. It has creavaces that hold salt and oil in and no matter how meticulous you are you will not get clean. Oh one last thing I forgot, the on/off switch is not easy to turn off. It's like it's made to be hard so it doesn't accidentally get turned off while cooking. But you have to turn it off before the popping completes so you don't burn your popcorn. So all in all if you can find a better design I'd recommend that. But this machine works once you get to know how to use it. Just wish I'd researched a little more into the design before finally getting the family a popcorn machine. It makes you NOT want to make the stuff. Even though it's delicious!

I loved this popcorn maker so much that i immediately bought 4 more as gifts and plan to buy even more yet. I agree though with previous remarks that the cord is too short…. Another 10”- 12” would be perfect! This makes delicious popcorn… sooo much better than microwave. Just like the old days! I like it with regular salt. I recommend turning it off sooner than you think so it doesn’t overcook. I also found that using actual butter is better than any sprays. (I used a ghee type spray).

If there were more stars, I would give it more stars. This popcorn popper is perfect. It reminds me the one I had back in college 1 million years ago, except this one has the blade at the bottom that keeps the popcorn moving. I use it almost every day, and usually have very few “old maids “and the ones that I do have fall through the holes in the bottom into the little cover. I’m not sure why anybody would want to spend more than this when they can get a product this good. ❤️

Great popcorn maker. I suggest using 1 1/2 teaspoons of oil not the 1 tablespoon that is recommended. But then, that’s just my personal taste.
