I never thought I’d get excited about cooking eggs, but the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker seriously makes life easier. Whether you’re into hard-boiled, soft-boiled, poached, or even mini omelets, this thing handles it all with almost zero effort. I mostly use it for hard- and medium-boiled eggs, and they come out consistently great. The included measuring cup makes it simple—you just fill it to the line for the doneness you want, pour it in, poke a tiny hole in the eggs with the built-in pin, and hit the power button. That’s it. You can walk away and do other stuff while it cooks. The best part? The eggs peel ridiculously easily. I’ve ruined way too many eggs trying to peel them from stovetop boiling—this totally solves that. Perfect for meal prep, deviled eggs, or just grabbing a quick protein snack. Cleaning is a breeze too. The tray, lid, and accessories wipe clean easily or go in the dishwasher, and the whole unit is small enough to leave on the counter or tuck in a drawer. A few things to note: • If you like soft-boiled eggs, expect to do a little experimenting. The water levels can be finicky, and it’s easy to overshoot and end up with medium or hard. • The buzzer/alarm is LOUD. It’s a fun little tune, but it won’t stop until you shut it off manually—just be ready for that if you’re in another room. • Also, it only makes up to 6 eggs at once (or 12 if you get the larger model), so it’s not ideal for huge batches. I bought this after trying an Elite Gourmet egg cooker for a couple months. The one thing they have in common is that both of them make perfect hard boiled eggs. In every other sense this Dash egg cooker is very easily my favorite. The water fill cup has raised numbers and letters as opposed to black paint. On the Elite Gourmet water fill cup that black paint is already near completely gone and hard to read. When the Dash cooker is done it has a pleasant chime to it. When the Elite cooker is done it has a blood curdling squelch that can be heard from a mile away. The Dash cooker is also a couple minutes faster. After steaming eggs in either egg cooker they stay extremely hot for a while. So it's best to cool them off in the fridge for a few minutes. With this egg cooker it comes with a centerpiece that you can grab to pick up all the eggs and place them in the fridge at the same time. Previously I had to quickly grab the eggs with my hands and put them in a bowl to run cold water over them. In every way this is what I was looking for after trying an Elite Gourmet egg cooker.

I've always been curious about these little rapid egg cookers, but never bought one due to me thinking, "oh you're not THAT lazy, you can cook some freakin' eggs yourself." Well, decided to go for it because it's $16, I love eggs, and why not. Best purchase! Gone are the days of waiting for water to boil, then waiting for the eggs to cook, sometimes accidentally overcooking them, etc. And gone are the days of peeling impossible shells! Woo hoo! First use and I got 7 perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs. It says it holds 6 max, but I put in 7, because 7 fit, and it worked perfectly. It's super easy to use and so fast, and you don't have to pay attention to the cooking at all. And the shells came off so easy! No issues! Highly recommend! This sounds like a paid review, but it isn't! This thing is great. And it doesn't even really require cleaning, unless you're using the poaching/omelette accessories, which I probably will rarely if ever use. Great value. Small cons: it should have an auto shut off feature, but this isn't a big deal at all. Also, the music it plays to let you know the eggs are done is a bit excessive, lol. But again, who cares. Not a big deal. If you love eggs, get this!

I purchased this egg steamer in late June for the express purpose of hard boiling (steaming) eggs. I love egg salad and plain old hard-boiled eggs. I figured after all the fuss I go through boilings eggs and butchering them in the peeling process, why not try something different. I didn’t think it too much a gamble to for less than $20 take ChatGPT’s advice and try this particular steamer. Wow! I was blown away with product! Simple, easy-to-follow instructions and operation allowed me to produce fantastic hard boiled eggs. But the real coup de grace was in my peeling them! AMAZING! Shells peeled off effortlessly, with large sections of shell almost sliding off. The steamer does a whole lot of other things, but I don’t care. It’s all about the eggs fo me! I whole-heartedly recommend this product.
