My original headunit died when my battery died, so I needed a replacement. Originally, I bought a much cheaper headunit, which worked for a short time, but then stopped working randomly. Returned it, and got another one of the same. Worked for a few days then it did the same. Came to find out that the temperature was freezing the LCD screen, causing the screen to only appear white. Thats when I found this head unit. To be honest, I'm happy I had to deal with all of the replacements to get this head unit, as it is a beast compared to the original head unit. It has far more features, and is essentially an android tablet attached to the car. It handles bluetooth well, uses gps well, uses the radio well, and has the play store, so when I'm sitting in the car waiting for something, I can watch youtube if I want. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is the installation and slight bugginess. It was a pain, but at least it didn't need to be bolted into the car (it doesn't move at all while driving). Sometimes maps decides to stop working randomly (only when putting in a destination, it works great once it starts navigating). Not too big of a deal, but slightly annoying. I can add photos later if anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like in a 2014 corolla. ... show more

2019 sep 4: despite headunit failure, communication with dasaita had been EXCELLENT! Small language barrier due to origin, but overall, responses have been less than 1 hour via email. Considering the geographical location, this is much better than expected. UPDATE- Seller attempted to fix with 2 software updates. Both were bandaid fixes and caused issues of their own. Seller now wants video of failing unit. If this headunit needs to come out, it will cost me 135 dollars to have it uninstalled, then another 135 to have the replacement re8nstalled when it does show up. 1st unit took 6 days to show up. ***9 DAY UPDATE*** No longer able to control audio pause and skip functions from headunit when connectedvia bluetooth. Bluetooth is no longer reliable, and A2DP app is no longer functional. Headunit asks to be connected to phone AFTER phone is already connected.Refund requested...lets see how this goes. ***ORIGINAL REVIW***After Removed older version of android headunit from my 14 corolla. Dasaita install was just as easy, and required minimal tools. All connections were simple connectors, and i had to find 1 ground to my vehicle metal frame. The lower 3rd of my original android headunit screen died after 4 years. Dasaita headunit was delivered to southern California 6 days after it was ordered from China. ... show more

Before ordering this Stereo, I did my research and reviews on other owners and I had my doubts. But after studying and looking deeper into the Android Stereo ,reviews and some you tube videos I decided to go for it. When my package arrived it was boxed also handled very well as shown plus was better than I expected. a day or two later I installed it without any major problems and to program it took me a while since I am to old school but, once installed WOW!!! I love it and said to myself why did I take so long to upgrade! I still have some learning to do but I love the look and the sound quality I have to figure out the best way to get the most out of it but over all I Love it!!!! one other not the taps they say you may had to break off I did not I made some extra slots in my dash to accommodate the stereo. 5 stars on that sound gets 4.5 stars... stay tune for photos and updates! ... show more

Fits in my 2016 Corolla S Plus. Looks and works great. It was frustrating to install, I would not recommend this for a beginner without some proper instructions, which are not included. See below for some tips. I finally got it installed. I tried searching online for installation tips before buying this - I highly recommend watching 2 videos. The second one is probably the most important! Search Youtube for "Dasaita 10.2 Corolla" and look for John Nguyen. The link to the 2nd video is in the comments of the first video. Installation tips: #1 - Three plastic clips/pieces on the top bezel need to be cut off. I used diagonal cutters (dikes). Not that big of a deal, just need to know which ones. Hold it against the dash and look at where the holes line up. The ones that need cut are all on the top. The bottom and sides all line up. #2 - You have to take the yellow and white clips off the factory unit and put them on this one #3 - You have to remove the stock stereo bezel from the long dash panel. It pulls straight off. Be careful not to break the clips when you remove it #4 - The bottom of this display unit sits in front of the dash panel. When I first looked, this display is WAAAY too big to fit in that hole. It doesn't fit in it....the bottom of the display is in front of the bezel (see attached picture from bottom). The default navigation app is "igo primo". By default it has about 20 "favorite" spots, which are all in Chinese. I just deleted them. The maps loaded in my area were a bit dated (over 3 years old). I found free map updates on google. Just search, they were not hard to find. Some apps are not available from the play store with this version of android. Again, I found the apk on google and used the APK installer to get everything to work. There is a forum on XDA-Developers that provide software updates and lots of other questions being answered. I suggest checking it out. Again, just google "xda developers Dasaita 10.2" and you can find it. Overall, I really like the unit. It was not easy to install but once it was in everything was good. It came with a piece of paper with an e-mail address for technical support. It sounds sketchy, but I actually got a response (twice) within 24 hours.
