This spotlight is great. It has all sorts of attachments. It holds a charge well and is easy to use. We love the different modes and the lantern feature is useful when you need a more ambient light source to light up a space. We use them to spot wildlife, keep our property safe, we take it camping for night time dog walking. We even have 2 for boating. This is the best "spotlight" I've ever owned, and by comparison to several very powerful "tube format" flashlights, it blows them away in light intensity. With the many kinds of light, (work, spot, danger, flashing, ect.) there isn't any job this thing can't illuminate. The output to charge other devices is icing on the cake. The filters aren't my thing, but the rubber ring that holds them on provides great protection to the lens surface. I can't imagine how it will see enough daylight to recharge itself, but there is a nice photocell on the back. A small folding tripod would make it into a very nice work light. But mostly this thing is powerful, feature rich and very reasonably priced. I'm gonna get another one for the truck. ... show more

We took it on a road trip where we had to camp in a rest area one night and we used it as a potential creeper deterrent (we planned to flash the bright light if anyone bothered us). We use it almost daily just at our house that backs up to the woods to see what is out there watching us in the dark. This torch is great at lighting up dark spaces. This spotlight has been a game changer when we camp. I use it when we go to our church retreats. The beam is very bright and allows me to go safely between the bunk houses after dark.     • Cheap Trigger Mechanism & Weak Cheap Battery
Old Guy here again, This light is Not what I was hoping for, but it will do. The Light is bright & has the several modes on the trigger for different use, but trigger mechanism is cheap & I guarantee it will not last under medium amount of usage. The plastic mold of this light is cheap as possible to get out the door for sales, and don’t drop the light or it will probably crack. Price of this light is $10 more than it’s worth. So, 1/8/25 Update on this product! After initial review about the switch after I had properly charged up light, I went & put light inside wooden drawer in my living room till I needed it, 2 weeks later, I went to use the light & it was totally dead. So, I recharged it again and it worked fine & I forgot about and set it on my dresser. Just now today, 1/8/25 I went to use it and it was totally dead. So, basically the light is actually very light weight which tells me that the battery is not very heavy & that the battery is a WEAK MANUFACTURED TYPE BATTERY THAT THEY USE IN LIGHT & BECAUSE IT IS CHEAP, IT DOES NOT HOLD A CHARGE LONG AT ALL, LESS THAN 3 DAYS, is what this is.
