I got this for my 3, now 4 yr old son. He has enjoyed it. It’s suuuuper basic. Has some basic games fun for a little kid- a fun feature for them to have some games to play with that don’t require internet connection. It can take videos and pics. My picture quality is fine and what you’d expect from a $30 camera. Not great, but not dark or horrible like some have said. My biggest complaint is I have no idea what the music note option does (don’t have the instructions any more) and the included cable doesn’t work to connect to my computer. When I plug it into my MacBook, the camera charges but nothing else. I am pretty sure you need a usb micro sd adapter to get it to come up on your computer. So that’s annoying. And then I’m hoping the music note means I can add music from my computer for my little one to play with. Just have to figure out how to connect to my computer. If you want a basic camera that you don’t necessarily care if your little one hangs around (mine has banged it around quite a bit and it still works) then this is good. If you want to connect to the computer, you might be out of luck. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Although for the purposes of this review the battery died. The phone has been on for a full week. I purchased this camera for my daughter’s third bday bc she’s always trying to grab a hold of my camera, take pictures and say cheese. I had no clue this was a real camera with usb chargers, memory card etc. this is the real deal with built in filters. For this picture i though i was getting a toy camera without the built in mechanics of a real camera. I’m pleasantly surprised. You can even print the pictures. The quality isn’t the greatest but for a three year old at this price range I’m content! ... show more

Extremely disappointed in this camera. We’re now on our second one. It was exactly what my daughter wanted and she got it as a gift from Santa. The first one worked great at first, and then when we went to charge it the charging port was broken. So we returned it. (Navigating returning a gift from Santa was fun, my daughter had lots of questions on how that’s possible because it came from Santa’s workshop). When we got the replacement, it worked initially, but now something is wrong with the SIM card and it won’t store any pictures. I’ve inserted the SIM card correctly, the camera displays the icon that it is installed. But after taking a picture, they do not show up on the device or SIM card. Instead we get a message that says “no media”. She loves taking pictures and the features, but all of the issues make the camera unusable. I’m very hesitant to get a third replacement camera, or just throw in the towel and find something similar from a different manufacturer. ... show more

Purchased for 5 year old. Camera didn't work, was difficult to figure out, had to download very skimpy instruction manual which was not helpful. Buttons are small. Good idea, but instead I bought a simple point-and-shoot that is easier to use and only a few dollars more.

Great for kids. Keep in mind that there’s no flash so it does require the space to be well illuminated for pictures. But overall my 5 yr old enjoys it and considers herself now the family photographer.
