    • Easy to use, great bows

Made the prettiest bows I've ever made with the Bowdabra!

    • Improved model over older versions.
Style: Designer Kit Size: Standard
I first bought the bowdabra when it first came out on the market. It was only available through TV orders at the time. I used it for years with most excellent results. The first one burned in a fire. I decided to purchase a replacement because it worked so well. This new model is spring loaded for expansion and easier removal of the finished bow. If you are planning on getting married or are in a wedding party that will help with decorations this product will prove to be invaluable to you. You can make all sorts of bows and decorations with this product from flower ties to pew bows and you can make bows for table centerpieces with it and for the back of the chairs at the reception. The thing that I like about it is you can make a bow out of all sorts of items, adding branches and other decor into the bow, you can make a huge variety of bows for all occasions and totally customize them. You can make them from just a few inches in diameter to more than two feet or more easily with this simple to use gadget. If you make a few well ahead of time before you need them you will quickly improve the end product. You can use a variety of different items within the one bow. After I got the hang of it. I made up a variety of bows ahead of time so I would have a few to choose from for gifts at a moments notice. ... show more

    • Bowdabra

I am learning how to make ribbons using bowdabra. Instructions are included on how to make bows which is included. The package includes everything except ribbon. A membership and code to tutorials to watch how to make beautiful bows. The price is reasonable.

    • Good product
Style: Designer Kit Size: Standard
I said it all in the title. The product itself is relatively easy to use and is effective - but the instructions are awkwardly worded and hard to understand, and the pictures too small to see what they're talking about. It does come with an instructional DVD - but we got rid of the DVD player years ago, and our laptops do not play DVDs either. They saved themselves by giving access code to the members only section on their webpage. This is a good website that has clear to understand instructions that are downloadable and printable. Once I got the hang of how to use this, it is easy and makes nice bows. ... show more

    • A LIFE-SAVER for a Wreath Maker
Style: Designer Kit Size: Standard
Review Image by Anserz
AMAZING PRODUCT! I usually have a hard time making wreath bows...PERIOD! And when I couldn’t find 2.5” purple ribbon that was wired ANYWHERE (we are in quarantine times at the moment), I hoped that this product would help. I got my hands on 2.5” NON-WIRED ribbon...and without this product making a bow would’ve been impossible for me! Absolutely astounding technology. I do recommend studying all instructions. And they also include a DVD to help. Or if you have YouTube you can find videos there as well. It includes their brand of wire, which is flexible built still sturdy enough to twist in place. I recommend NOT putting it on a slippery surface. I put a coarse drop-cloth (used when painting walls) over my craft table when making wreaths. And it didn’t slide on it while making the ribbon (as I had previously worried it might). All in all worth every penny! ... show more

    • Okay - for absolute beginners but not much beyond
Style: Designer Kit Size: Standard
I had high hopes for this bow maker. I wish I had done more research and spent just a few more dollars and purchased something else that would be able to work with me better - with my abilities and the variety of bows and the size of bows. It is decent, sure, if you are new to bow making. But if you want to make a larger size bow, this is not the gadget for you. If you need a device that has some heft, some weight, again, this is not for you. It is fairly limited in its design - and the tool to push down the ribbon really is useless - my hands work better and faster. I have made bows for a few decades, and thought that maybe this would help my sore and stiff hands - it didn't really. I know how to make many styles of bows without a gadget, and perhaps I was just too much in a hurry to get the projects done, but eventually I became exasperated with the limitations of the Bowdabra and put it to the side. Granted, the instructions had some handy-dandy tips. But, in the long run, I ended up leaving this device behind and making bows without it. It became more of a nuisance than a help. I watched someone use a larger, wooden base bow maker and was envious - that is what I wish I had purchased now. But, I sure did love saying "Bowdabra", to the point that my kids were truly annoyed. ... show more

    • Really DOES work for the UN-coordinated or UN-crafty types
Style: Designer Kit Size: Standard
I was really amazed by this little machine! I cannot make a bow to save my life, but this made all of my Christmas decor bowes, and it was quick, easy, and gave professional looking results. I watched a few Youtube videos on how to use it , because it made it easier to learn, to actually see it being done rather than simply following an instruction manual. My family was very impressed with the results of the Bowdabra as well :) ... show more
