The Caliper is designed for jobsite comfort and safety. The full-grain leather upper is strong and durable, but soft enough to wear right out of the box. I have worn various Danner boots for over 40 years and have never been disappointed. These, while not made in the US, seem to be holding up well after a couple of months. The protective toe is a nice plus and does not seem to add a lot of weight. Danner rocks.

Danner Caliper 6" boots are not made in the USA. The Amazon description is misleading. Otherwise, for the price, they are comfortable right out of the box and seem to be quality made.

Firstly ordered a size 11.5 i received an 11 second the sole of the shoe was separating at the toe end of the sole would not recommend buying this shoe and would not recommend the seller shoe is also very stiff

Ordered a pair of 9.5 boots as I wear a 9.5 currently (also a pair of danners) and these are almost 2 inches longer..now I’m walking around looking like a damn clown…beyond disappointed..

I work in a warehouse doing maintenance on heavy material handling equipment. Rarely have time to sit down at all. I have use many other brands of boots, to no avail. Something in every boot I've used ends up being a problem. Too heavy, too stiff, eats up my heel, too flat and hard on the surface of my foot... something. NOT THE CASE HERE!!! Right out of the box, these boots were lighter, comfortable, and didn't make my feet feel like I'd rather saw them off at the end of the day. For reference, I average between 4000 and 14000 steps a day. Mostly on the higher end. All of my time is on concrete. Weather that be in a room -15 degrees or 80... these boots seem to hold up well. No complaints and will return again when these get wore out or become so nasty with grease and oil, they need to be replaced. ... show more
