I'm typically a size medium, I bought the medium and it fit well. The only issue for me is the wrinkles. A few people said that they were able to iron the coat, but with alot of effort. If you really want to spend the time ironing and you think you can do it, it needs to be done. I really do like the coat. I just wish Amazon would not keep saying to go based on what they suggest the size i should buy based on the info i provided. Always wrong and this is the one time i listened and got a small smh. This came with lots of room for maybe two thick hoodies to fit underneath. Which is great for many. For me I would’ve liked a slim hugging style. The arms are wide and I’m 5’2. They go a bit past my knees. It’s comfortable. Good quality and value for the money. It is cute looks nice, just don’t think it’ll work well in 30 degreee temperature either. I was freezing coming and going to work the past two days if it was under 50 degree. You’ll be freezing. This coat is heavy & warm. It looks like a bathrobe though. That was my first thought when I looked in the mirror. Then I showed my husband & he said the same thing. I’m 5’9, 190 and ordered 2XL. When purchasing this keep in mind you get what pay for. I needed a dressy coat fast to wear with a dress for a funeral. I ordered the black one in a size medium, based on the size chart. It fits pretty well, but it would be too tight if I was planning on wearing a thick sweater. The sleeves not are too long and the shoulder sits just right on me. The belt is plenty long enough to tie it or knot it. It appears to be well sewn and constructed. The thickness of the material is medium to thin. This is not a warm will winter coat. I know it will not be warm enough, but I’m basically wearing it for walking into a church from a parking lot, then to venue for the luncheon. It would probably be fine in 40-50° weather so long as you’re not outdoors for an extended period. My biggest problem with this coat is it arrived vacuum sealed in plastic and HEAVILY wrinkled. I spent the better part of an hour steaming with a garment steamer and ironing with an ironing cloth under the iron. It was a chore trying to get the wrinkles out. The lining is just think polyester that was massively wrinkled, but I didn’t dare steam it very long as I feared it would melt it.
