Pole loosens during workout and has to be tightened mid-use but I use as a good time for a sip of water and a quick break mid-workout. Seems to be holding up well after 4 months of 2-3 times a week for 30 minutes each session. Not thrilled with how wide the ceiling end is and how far it comes down; I think I’ll replace soon with a permanent pole instead of a portable pole and keep this for when I want to take a pole to my girl friend’s for a workout in her pole studio. It is worth the money for a beginner like myself not being sure if I wanted a permanent commitment when I first put a pole in at home. Assembly was easy, but I enjoy and am above-average skilled in putting together assembly required furniture. The design of the pole puts the piece cupping seam in a less that ideal location, but consistent with the other portable poles I researched. Good value for the price since I’m a newbie and it was my first at home pole. I would recommend for newbie with install/assembly skills.
