I just have to say that my 2 year old daughter is in love with this dance mat! While this is marketed towards older kids, it will still work magic in entertaining small toddlers who are very active. My daughter can’t quite reach the numbers but enjoys spinning to find the lights she needs to step on and dancing to the pre-programmed tunes. Honestly wish I would have thought about one of these months ago. The quality is superb, kind of slick with socks but not a fall hazard, and the colors stand out against the black background beautifully. This was an instant success. It takes just a couple standard sized batteries and then the kids can get to dancing. Zero set up, turn it on, pick your play mode and go. The best part is, there is a built in score keeper so they can keep track of how well they’ve played each level. It was gifted as a birthday present for an 8 year old, and has been played on daily since. We will not be using the blue tooth feature. It is cumbersome and the mat doesn’t respond to being connected. The pads don’t light up and there is nothing to keep score for. Not only that, it will lose connectivity if you accidentally bump the volume button. We have more fun with the 5 built in play modes. The pads light up, the music changes, and the score board is the unexpected favorite feature. Good purchase, would gift again! ... show more

I purchased this dance mat for my granddaughters birthday. She loves dancing and I love that this gives her excercise. This was her favorite gift at her party. She plays with it everyday. She has 3 other siblings and they all love the mat. They have dance offs it is so adorable seeing them trying to out play each other. It is a well made mat. That is well worth the money. We bought this for our granddaughters. From the moment that it was turned on, they played with it continuously for a long, long time. My oldest granddaughter was able to link her laptop via Bluetooth with ease. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 stars, for two reasons. First, it is nowhere near as big as the pictures in the Amazon page, would lead you to believe. It is big enough for play, but not as big as shown. Second, the instructions are very poor. Clearly not written by someone with English as a first language. Maybe not even a second language. But my granddaughters never even looked at the instructions, and were able to play with it just fine. Past these two items, it is a great toy. ... show more
