Bought this microwave for my in-laws. Their other unit was about to die. Long story short most of the reviews said this was a noisy microwave. Well, it is not any noisier than the one they had before and much easier for them to use. Great product.

Solidly made, full featured, familiar control pad, carousel, and right size, it is an excellent addition to our kitchen. And doing a deep dive on Google, we found out Danby, while a small brand, is highly rated by all groups that test appliances. It's been around long enough to have the bugs worked out. didn't hesitate when i saw a good price on this. i'd owned a danby air-conditioner which i thought was terrific. generally i'm okay with appliance noise during operation, but this is beginning to sound like a lawn mower, and the evenness of cooking could be improved. sadly, i could not recommend this to even the most tolerant consumer. ... show more
