A little sad you’d have to cut to adjust the length of the rope to your height. If you overcut, it becomes pretty useless and ineffective. But it’s a pretty light rope and helps with fast skipping.

For being a simplistic design this rope is amazing. It's light but carries enough weight to not trip you up. Slaps don't hurt like a cable speed rope, and the movement is very smooth. The handles are on the shorter side but it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. I like them a lot. I do think based on the materials and construction that they would be better priced at under $10. ... show more

I own an MMA gym and actually enjoy jump roping myself. I have probably at least 30+ different ropes that I have purchased over the years. I first ordered this Damage rope along with a Buddy Lee Jump rope that costs close to $40. I really only ordered this as a cheap rope to let the other gym patrons use. Turns out I hated the $40 rope and went back to Amazon to order 3 more of these. They are cheap, simple, durable, and work fantastic. No fancy bearings, silly adjusting mechanisms, or ergonomic handles. Just a fast, even, quality jump rope. Goes to show that sometimes simple is better. Well done. I adjusted these for the kid and it was easy as could be. The rope is extremely durable bo cutting or scraping noticed so far and this is for a beginner no less. I had been jumping rope for a long time and have yet to find something of such high quality, just wish I could use it lol
