Less expensive then competing brands for similar size and included features (i.e. Gunner, Lucky Duck, Ruff Land). Good venting, metal door w/metal door frame, lockable latch, and plenty of space for the pooch to stretch out a bit. Handle on the top gives a great location to run tie down straps. Ruff Land has a similar price point, but the Dakota has a substantially more sturdy structure attributes mostly to the thicker material and metal door frame. This kennel has a similar structure to the Luck Duck, but is larger and includes a metal door. I like having more room for my four legged family member. Gunner appears to have a much more rigid structure and similar size, however, it is much pricier. Been using the Dakota for ~6 months and have no issues. ... show more

The crate itself is marvelous, well built and sturdy. Unfortunately, it is so huge and solid I can't see out the back window of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I know it may sound odd, but I like to see out the back of my car. What I didn't realize, nor was it written anywhere, this is a third party purchase, so they are making the return as miserable as possible. I have to pay for the return myself! Which by the way cost as equally as the product itself!!!!!!! Furious!!!!!!! Amazon better figure this out bc, this is bollocks!!!!!!!! to be more precise, Amazon better find away to get the money I spent on returning it back! ... show more

This is one of the best crates on the market if not the best. It’s an amazing design, all one piece, no assembly required. FedEx actually delivered this in 2 days as advertised! That was truly the amazing thing! I would buy again if I needed another one.

The media could not be loaded. Unsafe! Unsafe! Unsafe! Unsafe! Hello, I transport, bord and train dogs and wanted this kennel first for my own dogs(Presa Canario) with plans on getting more. Over all I was really liking the kennel until I realized that there was a very big problem. The top and bottom corners on the opening side of the door are not secure. The can be pulled or pushed out about 2 inches leaving plenty of room for a paw to get stuck and inflect real harm.
