Description
The Tatula CT is an extremely versatile, well rounded casting reel perfect for the overwhelming majority of popular bass fishing techniques like soft plastics, jigs, crankbaits, chatterbaits, and much more. Compact and comfortably palmable, The Tatula CT weighs in at a mere 7.2 ounces and pairs well with just about any bass rod on the market. Boasting the same T-Wing System level-wind as the other higher priced reels in the Tatula family, the CT specializes in long, precision casting by reducing resistance on the line as the spool dispenses line off the reel.

Awesome reel!
Style: 6.3:1, Left Handed
I have been using baitcasters for the past few years now and this is one of my favorite reels. It is super easy to tune, functions flawlessly, and is built with quality parts. I will actually probably order another one before fishing season kicks off. Highly recommend!

Feels great
I’m just starting out using a baitcasting reel. I use it mainly on a boat (saltwater) because it’s so light and I can hold it in hand all day. Typically I fish in 25 fathoms or less for fish about a pound or two. My last trip I got to try my Tatula and it was so smooth and handled a few screamers with no problems. The drag was okay but I think it could improve..it was very smooth and only once did I have to use max drag. I think it would be nicer if it had a little more drag. Not a deal breaker for what I use it for but I would prefer a bit more. Over all performance, I’m quite happy with it. For the fishing I do , this is going to be my go to reel. I paired it with a aird x rod and the combination is so light compared to what I used to use. I budgeted because I bought this combition as an experiment and fell in love with it. I can fish all day long with this outfit.. Update: several days after fishing, I noticed that the spool wasn’t as smooth as out of the box..removed the side plate (watched YouTube ), used a q tip to wipe the inside of reel then a drop of Clenzoil in bearings on both sides of spool, also wiped inside of reel with Clenzoil on q tip. After reassembling , it feels smoother than out of the box. Okay, it seems like a lot of maintenance but I think it’s well worth it

Be gentle with the handle, casts a mile.
I absolutely love this reel. Daiwa makes a great product, with one small flaw. The mechanism on the inside that controls the t-wing is made of plastic. A few weeks ago I noticed it not dropping down anymore, affecting casting distance. I took it apart, and a tiny piece of white plastic fell out. I figured out where it went, and installed a tiny steel grub screw in its place. It's flawless once again. Just don't slam the handle down like I did and you should be fine.

Good reel for the price, smooth reeling, a bit large for smaller hands
Style: 8.1:1, Right Handed
This reel casts as well as any tuned baitcaster, but the reeling is noticeably smooth and comparable to my Shimano Curado DCs, for nearly half the price. The profile is a bit large for my hands though and it's hard to comfortably palm the reel for long periods of time. I don't have this problem with the Shimano (nor the Daiwa Tatula SV unless I've just gotten used to it by this point). Great reel, but 4/5 for the larger profile compared to other reels.

I am so happy with this reel!
Style: 8.1:1, Right Handed
This was the first fish I caught on this reel. This is a great reel. I am very happy with the casting distance., the brake control system and the tension system. It’s smooth and it’s very light but feels durable. Definitely worth the money.
