This is an awesome rod for the price I still can't believe I got it so cheap! Shipping was fast and the rod/reel was in perfect brand new shape when I received it. Very easy to use if you are a beginner. This thing has a very functional smooth reel. Castability is great I can cast it a mile with a heavier bait. Rod is the perfect size and very lightweight, strong and the quality is nice. It has plenty of flex to where you can feel every bite. Very smooth action. My son was very happy with the combo. Used 8 lb Cajun line. Good matchup. 10 largemouth bass on the first trip and all good. Bass 1-2.5 lbs. not a ultra super light but a medium heavy ultra light. Still light weight but on the bigger side of ultralight.

When I received the package the fishing rod was broke past the reel seat. So I could not test the rod. Reel is what was expected. So can only give 3 stars for 50%.
