Prelude Silk & Steel 1/2 size violin strings
Style: Medium Tension
Size: 1/2 Scale
Color: Full Set (1 Set)
Arrived very quickly. I am a violin teacher and try to find the best string for a reasonable price and heard these strings played on a 4/4 violin in the symphony and was very impressed with the sound and price, so thought I would give these strings a try on a 1/2 size fiddle and found that they had a nice warm sound. Tiny violins have a difficult time sounding sweet, but I was pleased with these and highly recommend them.

Great for Beginners
Style: Medium Tension
Size: 1/2 Scale
Color: Single A String (1)
Good price for the product. This his not a high dollar item and I don’t see this string lasting too long. I will go with Shar Music, which is where I purchased 2 violins, in the future.

Great Find From Amazon
Style: Medium Tension
Size: 1/2 Scale
Color: Full Set (1 Set)
My son plays a 1/2 size violin, and Amazon was the only place I can find affordable 1/2 size strings. All other stores only had full size. Overall, a great option available from Amazon.

D'Addario Prelude Violin String Set, 1/2 Scale
Style: Medium Tension
Size: 1/2 Scale
Color: Full Set (1 Set)
I use these on my student violins, upgrading from the stock string because they sound very nice and last so much longer. They seem to stay in tune once broken in as well.
