Installation was straightforward, with all eight pads fitting perfectly. Braking performance was smooth and quiet, with no squealing even after bedding in. Stopping power felt strong and consistent. After a few weeks of use, there’s been no visible glazing or excessive dust. These seem like a reliable replacement option for F-150 owners. Very budget-friendly functionality! Pros: Precise fit, quiet operation, strong braking. Cons: None noted so far.

This is the first set of pads I’ve gotten which did not come with new slides. That’s ok though because the slides from the last set were still in pretty good shape - a bit of emery cloth and elbow grease and they are fine. The pads came very well painted. This would probably greatly help prevent corrosion but to get the pads to fit, the paint on the tabs going into the slides got filed off. They would fit into the slides without filing but so tight that a mallet is needed to get them out so I filed a bit off to get them to actually slide, thus able to release when taking my foot off the brakes. Because the parts shop took so long to get the rotors turned, the final assembly of the brake job was finished quite late and the front pads accidentally got rush installed with both inner pads on one wheel and the outer pads on the other wheel. This means braking was very poor. Luckily I checked that pretty quickly and could see the side with both inner pads could not work properly. After correcting this error these brakes seem to be working very well, stopping the pickup better than the old pads.

I give 5 stars due to inspection of product only. To be transparent I have not installed or tested these as of yet. I purchased these as a back up set for my 2012 f150 5.0 FX4 crew. I haven’t installed because current pads are still in good shape at the moment. Upon receiving the package the item seems non branded, as they have not come up with a package design or they are merely generic. They are wrapped nicely in a heat shrink plastic and sealed nicely. The listing advertises ceramic pads, upon inspection they appear to be semi metallic but I’m not sending anything off for analysis. The bonding of the pad material to the plate seems well adhered, I see no defects or cracks in the pads. Although once heat is applied we will see how well they remain bonded. I’m not 100% on material so I can’t attest to break dust production but I would be ready to keep the wheels rinsed. Maybe I’ll be surprised!! For the price they seem well made as opposed to $70+ for a single set at the box store these are full all the way around.

I wish I could give these 10 stars!!!!! I have done my fair share of brake jobs over the years and it seems like in the last 15 years or so, that quality control has diminished. Every single set of brakes has needed some sort of finish work to allow them to move freely on the caliper. That is, until I received this set. This was the first set I have installed without having to remove some stamping burr / defect in quite some time. Fit and finish were exceptional and they function as they should. These brakes are a great value replacement. and because of the above reason, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a great brake pad kit that fits perfectly. Oh yeah, they stop just fine , too!!
