I didn’t know what to expect only using fujikura but I will say it does the job and I have no complaints. Simple to use and after 100 splices everything works as it’s supposed to. If you are looking for something cheaper than the expensive ones this is not a bad option. It’s durable put together well and doesn’t feel cheap. I bought this just to see if it was comparable to the fuji and didn’t really care if it was junk but I have been impressed so far and can buy 8 of these for what a fuji would cost me.

Haven’t spliced with it yet, but case is a horrible first impression. The big “fusion splicer” sticker on the front screams knock-off and the overall look of the thing is something I’d never want my customers to see me out there splicing with because I 100% guarantee they would have questions about splice quality just by the looks of it. Don’t sell your splicers in this tiny box things (which by the way - this one is not easy to open and is a silly design clearly made this way for smaller boxes shipping) - make the longer toolbox shaped case that looks (at least) like a decent splicing machine and take the stupid “fusion splicer” logo off of it completely. Make it look durable and rugged like the type of thing customers want to see when we’re out there building their networks.

Best low gear fiber to home splices on the market. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANY KIND OF MAINLINE SPLICING. There are companies that will service them as well.

I bought this unit as a secundary units. The previous units was really expensive and has a bit mora facility at the moment you fuse. But don't get me wrong this machine works great and the price is exceptionlal.
