When my kids were little, in the 80's, I bought a couple of these for when their friends spent the night. Everyone loved them then, so I was excited to see them for sale on Amazon, all these years later. I live in Texas, but I bought one and had it sent to VA for me to sleep on when I go to visit my grandchildren. Upon opening this, my 8-year-old grandson said, "This is EPIC!", and after sleeping on it for a week during my last visit, I have to say he was right, it IS epic! The bed is just 70" long, so I don't know that a taller person would feel the same way, but for someone of my height (I'm 5'2") who likes a firm bed, this fold out foam bed was perfect, and perfectly comfortable. I did add my own pillow, and regular twin-sized bedding fits perfectly. I've owned (and slept on) a couple of very big, expensive, elaborate air beds, and this was a vast improvement, to me, over any of those. I highly recommend this product, the only caveat being it's not very large, so I don't think it would work well for a large person. ... show more

This thing is a very nice size. I bought it to sleep in my hatchback when camping. I have a 2010 Honda Insight, and this chair unfolds to fit perfectly in the back when the seats are down. It's really thick and firm- feels great to lay on. Surprising, unlike other foam products I've bought in the past, this one didn't smell when I opened it. I bought it early so it'd have a chance to air out, but it didn't even need it. ... show more

This futon is well made and appears to be very durable, and I must admit a bit bigger than I invisioned. Although I bought it for sleepovers of the grandkids, it will easily work well for an adult. Keep in mind that folded it is 36" wide and 30" deep so adequate room to place or store it is needed. As a chair, it sits low at only about 12" so it might not be comfortable for sitting for some adults but perfect for children. Althought I bought this to be used as extra sleeping space when needed, I'm IMPRESSED with the density of the foam. When folded up as a chair, when sitting on it, it barely BUDGES!. I have no doubt that sleeping on it will be very comfortable. It looks nice folded up in the computer room, and again, the density of the foam on a scale of 1-10 is definitely a 10. ... show more
