Good for a sax player starting on bari, but has experience
Style: Strength 2.0
Size: 3-Pack
A few months ago, I started playing bari sax for my school's pep band. I do have experience though since I've been playing alto sax for about 7 and a half years and have been regularly using strength 2.5 and 3 reeds for the past few years. I started on a 2.5 with the bari sax and found it doable but a little difficult. Strength 2 was perfect for me. It's easy for me to play, but still has some resistance and isn't too easy. The sound quality is pretty good too.

Decent for the price, but...

I would rather recommend the Vandoren reeds for multiple reasons, but mainly for sound quailty. If you are on a budget, get the Rico's. However, AS the Vandoren's sound quality and tonality is better you or your child are likely to practice more, due to it sounding so good. When you buy beginner reeds, your tone quality is lacking.
