It's a big boy. I read the description and saw how heavy it was, but didn't understand until I assembled it. Speaking of assembly, I had a hard time tightening the stem under the handle bars, I may have been doing something wrong, but it just kept spinning and spinning, so I took it to a local bike shop and they tightened it for me. The seat stood out as it's wide and comfortable. There are 5 speeds from auto assist where you do a rotation or 2 of pedaling and the motor kicks in, to full on throttle only and I believe it tops out at around 20MPH. I've heard there may be a way to "unlock" it to 40MPH, but as fast as 20 is on this thing, that would be VERY dangerous. I'm not too mechanically inclined so I don't know if there are shocks somewhere on it, but it could sometimes be a bumpy ride, though the fat tires as well as the broad seat helped with that. The breaks squeak. I wasn't sure if it was normal, so I asked the bike mechanic to look at it when he tightened the stem and he said they are in good condition regardless, so I went on my way. It is a foldable, but like I said before he's a big boy, so I could not fit this into the trunk of my Civic, I imagine it will fit in a Tesla or SUV/Crossover trunk no problem. The battery is fine, I rode it up and down a local bike trail for ~2 hours and I wanted to head home before it got dark, but there was still a good amount of battery power left. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. I bought a several year additional insurance package because I don't want to be out ~1000+ after taxes if the motor, battery, or some other part of this beast kicks the bucket on me. I bought a bike for my son's birthday. Bike arrived on time and was well packaged. Very comfortable ride. Fat tires give the bike a smooth ride. I had some issue out of the box that required parts replacements to fix but their customer service was very responsive and kept trying to help until all of my issues were resolved. They even shipped a few replacement parts that I assume were fairly expensive until the bike was working properly. It's a solid ride and well built product. Shipping was fast, and arrived early(from Cali to michigan). The bike was well packaged and every inch seemed to be wrapped in protective foam. It went together pretty easy and straightforward. I was able to get 2 days use, and 20 miles on a single charge and still displayed 50% but have not tried to fully drain the battery(on PAS 3). After only 20 miles though the front shock gave out and collapsed. So I reached out to cycrown's support team and had a speedy response and solution. They offered to replace the entire bike to facilitate the repair but they were very understanding that I would prefer a replacement part instead of having to repackage the entire bike back in the box and wait for replacement.(There was no way I was going to match their boxing skills! lol) Within the week the shipped/delivered the replacement fork and I got it on the bike(pictures are before and after replacement, original has cycrown's stickers). If you are a heavier rider like myself (262lbs) I suggest leaving the fork in the locked position to avoid bottoming out the plastic components (does not take much at all). Other than the fork failure the bike is great with an awesome support team to back it up. I would buy again! I did upgrade the folding pedals for better grip/traction, the ones that come with it not that great but a pretty easy/cheap fix. I will update if anything else happens or if I decide to install and upgrade to an aftermarket front fork with threadless headset. ... show more

The strong attributes of this e-bike have been extensively covered in other written and video reviews. I will clarify and add to them as follows: 1. Yes it comes with a right-hand twist-grip throttle in addition to "pedal-assisted" (PAS) throttle. PAS is activated by crank rotation not pedal pressure (no actual load is needed) and has significantly delayed response (both on and off) compared to the twist-grip, which provides finer control and much shorter response delay. 2. Yes, contrary to another review, its pedals are foldable, which is extremely helpful when loading the folded bike into an SUV back gate. 3. Yes, the speed limiter at 20 mph can be removed; steps are included in the instruction manual. The 5 "power levels" are actually different speed limits, all preset except for Level 5 which can be adjusted upward to 50 KM/hr, thereby removing the limit. 4. Yes, the battery level indicator has an unusual behavior of adjusting downward in real time when the motor is under strong load. Reliable readings of remaining charge are best obtained when the motor is at rest, not under power. 5. Yes, the bike was received beautifully packed and largely assembled. The biggest challenge was snipping all of the zipties to get it out of the box. Remaining assembly was easy. In summary, it is a tremendous e-bike for the money, and has met all of its (high) expectations. ... show more
