The CYBEX Cloud G Comfort Extend infant car seat takes safety and comfort seriously, with an energy-absorbing shell, anti-rebound base, and Linear Side- Impact Protection. Simple and reliable one-click LATCH installation and an easy-in buckle ensure safe and hassle-free loading and unloading. The Cloud G features a full recline position and extending leg rest for a comfortable and ergonomic position when used outside the vehicle. In-shell air ventilation and an extra, extra large UPF50+ sun canopy protect your child from the sun’s rays and provide natural airflow. All seat fabrics are machine washable so clean-up is easy. A removable newborn infant insert and 12-position adjustable headrest allow proper use from birth up to 35 lb. (about 18 months of age), and the Cloud G is compatible with all CYBEX strollers to create a convenient baby travel system for your family.

I got this car seat so I had a way to cart either my niece or nephew around when needed. My nephew is about 18 months old, and my niece is about 3 months old. I like that I can have a single seat adjust to either age/weight. I was so happy when it arrived and I didn’t have to put anything together. It’s not lightweight, but some of that is what’s attached to the bottom, and can be removed if you just want to use it as a carrier or attach it to a stroller. I do believe you need a Cybex stroller though. The thing that really sold me though was the Bluetooth notification if it’s unclipped. My nephew is very good at opening, closing, and unclipping things he shouldn’t. It’s nice to know that you’ll get notified if it happens, can pull over, and re-clip them. My 3 month old niece fit perfectly in it with the insert in place, and removing those and my 18 month old nephew fit perfectly too. It’s nice being able to recline them. It not only makes it easier to get them in and out, but they fall asleep quicker too 😅. My only concern is the fabric is so light colored. I can see it being stained in no time, but I’ll update my review as I use it more. Fir now, I would give this 2 thumbs up 👍, and a highly recommended!! ... show more

I am very happy with the car seat. Jam packed with safety features, some I didn't consider before it arrived, and it definitely seems over-engineered in terms of quality. The extended recline feature is great. This along with the extendable leg rest make for a comfortable position. The headrest is highly adjustable, too. It has 12 positions to accommodate your child as they grow. Anti-rebound base with load leg. Linear Side-Imapct Protection (L.S.P.) This features are meant to absorb energy and reduce crash forces on your child by up to 30% according to Cybex. A sun canopy that tucks away nicely, and it provides UPF50+ protection against the sun. I read about this before receiving but I didn't realize just how useful the SensorSafe feature really would be.. For starters, it will alert you if your child unbuckles themselves. That's a great feature. It will also alert you if the seat becomes too warm or too cold, or if you leave your child behind in the car. These features are amazing. Being with a newborn, this car seat has been a great relief. They label it for newborn to 18 months so I hope to get a lot of good use out of it. It's also for 4 - 35lbs, and up to 32" height.
