  • CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR offers excellent value, performance, and build quality.
Size: GXiVR8040A17
I waited a couple of months before writing this review to make sure I had enough hands-on experience—and I’m glad I did. This system has exceeded my expectations and is absolutely worth the price. I’ve always built my own PCs, and my last build from 2019 served me well. But it was starting to show its age, so I began planning a new build. After pricing out similar specs and spotting a Prime Day deal, I realized I couldn’t match the value of this prebuilt. I did my homework, and CyberPowerPC came out ahead. Here’s what came in my setup: • Case: CyberPowerPC Amethyst 240S (White) • Motherboard: Gigabyte DS3H AX V2 • Processor: Intel Core i7-14700F (no integrated graphics, but not an issue thanks to the dedicated GPU) • Memory: TeamGroup 16GB DDR5 6000MHz (38-46-46-84) • Storage: Western Digital Green 1TB SSD • Power Supply: High Power 850W • Graphics Card: PNY GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB VRAM It also came with an RGB keyboard (NOHI 02) and mouse (Elite M2). I’ve been using the keyboard—it’s responsive, has decent RGB effects, and lighting is controlled directly from the board (no software required). I haven’t used the mouse yet, but it seems solid. Gaming performance has been excellent. Titles like Helldivers 2 and Company of Heroes run flawlessly—no stuttering, no crashes, just smooth gameplay. The system is impressively quiet. If it weren’t for the RGB lighting on the fans and RAM, you might not even notice it’s powered on. The white case and customizable RGB lighting look fantastic. You can tweak the lighting using Gigabyte’s Control Center (RGB Fusion) or third-party apps like SignalRGB. I initially thought I might need more RAM, but 16GB has been more than enough. I use the system for gaming, web browsing, media development (mostly audio and image work), and spreadsheets for both personal and professional tasks. One minor issue: when I first powered it on, the hard drive activity light didn’t work. After checking the wiring, I found the HDD LED and system reset wires were swapped. It was a quick fix, but worth mentioning. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. If it holds up as well as my last build, I may never go back to self-building—CyberPowerPC might have earned a long-term customer. It’s a well-balanced system with above-average specs at a very reasonable price, especially if you catch it on sale. It may not max out every game on ultra settings, but for my needs, it looks great and runs like a dream. Highly recommended for gamers and power users looking for a solid prebuilt system. ... show more

  • Great gaming PC
Size: GXiVR8040A17
I recently bought this CyberPowerPC gaming desktop, and I'm really impressed! It arrived well-packaged and set up was a breeze—just plug in, update drivers, and you're good to go. The build quality feels solid with nice RGB lighting, a tempered glass panel that shows off the components, and good cable management inside. Performance is excellent: it handles modern games at high settings with smooth frame rates, no stuttering or overheating issues during long sessions. The processor and GPU combo delivers exactly what I wanted for gaming and multitasking—fast load times, quick boots, and plenty of power for everything I throw at it. Great value for the price compared to building my own. Super happy with this purchase—highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable, high-performing prebuilt gaming rig! ... show more

  • Runs on High Graphics Smoothly no Frame Drops
Size: GXiVR8040A17
This is my FIRST gaming PC. I did weeks of research before purchasing from any company and this was the best overall performance with the best price. My PC arrived in perfect condition and was easy to set up. It runs all of my games on high graphics settings without any issues, and FPS gameplay is smooth and consistent. The system performs exactly as advertised, and I’ve had zero problems so far. Very satisfied with the quality and performance. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Hope this helps
Size: GXiVR8040A17
I was going to give it a 4 stars but the guy who delivered it is a gamer to and our interaction made this so much better, now I just got this so this review may be subject to change but right off the bat it’s super quiet that I think the fans are off but nope it’s just that quiet, it was packed pretty good all the wirings and stuff were solid, the box came in fairly good shape (surprisingly) the only wrong wit it was the smudges in the glass left by the packaging which if that’s my biggest problem than I have no worries, would really like to add more storage and ram but for the price for a budget pc this is more than acceptable. I was running a 3050ti laptop that was amazing but since the charger broke and games being harder to run on it I decided I try to catch up and upgrade, looks nice, definitely a good option for those who are looking to get into PC gaming at a caught up level. For brief context, my laptop could only run arc raiders at low and 50-60 fps on a good day, for this pc, Although recommended is high settings, I turned them up to epic, still quiet as a mouse and running uo to almost 150 fps which is a huge difference from what I was playing at. Hope this gives some clarity. Also im hardwired but it’s nice to see they added a Wi-Fi antenna incase you’re not close to a hardwire connection. Last thing, there’s a usb drive that comes with it, it’s not needed just takes you to their website to buy things. I just got this will update if something goes wrong. Update: (1 month in) I use this comp every day and still performs good and haven’t had any major issues. The only game that I had trouble with surprisingly was code vein, it struggled to join a friend and loading and cut screens would freeze the game for a minute than return back to normal. So besides that, I’m very happy with the purchase especially since it arrived in perfect condition and all the parts secured tightly in. In my opinion these can be a hit or miss and I just so Happened to get the hit. I do recommend beginners or people looking to upgrade for 30 Series and below to check this baby out it’s more affordable and if Amazon allows youto do a month to month payment as I did, I would do it. Amazing provided no interest and just 330 Down, followed by 230 every month for 5 months. If that’s an option you can afford and shows up on payment options I would do it. Still think it deserves 5 stars for the overall experience. Again wish it had more ram and bigger ssd drive but, it definitely does the job and than some ... show more

  • Suitable - RAM configuration is lame (anyone want to buy the one I swapped out?)
Size: GXiVR8040A17
Pros - Great price and decently powerful - relatively quiet - love the mouse that comes with it - plays marvel rivals really well - quiet - great case - rgb is really nice Cons - only one channel of ram (this is really not a great setup for efficiency) - cannot buy another single stick to pair off - the SSD jostled a bit during transit and the PC wouldn't boot up initially - the wifi transmitter doesn't do wifi 6+ ... show more

  • Great gaming pc just needs more ram for high intensity games.
Size: GXiVR8040A19
Runs great. But it needs more ram. Had to spend 450$ to buy 32 gigs of ram. We brought two pcs. So I put the ram that came with the pc in mine to give it 32. Hubby put the 32 I brought in his. We play very high intensity games. The ram wasn’t enough for Diablo 4. If you put on low settings can play it. If you buy this pc for streaming you need more ram. Everything is prefect. With the double ram it benchmarks at 100% for gaming, workstation and desktop. One pc did come with a loose fan. We didn’t know where it was supposed to go till we got the second pc. Good thing we bought a second one because we didn’t have the fan in the right spot at first for a day. The one on the heat sink fell off in shipping. If you’re using this for most games you will be fine without the extra ram. You can play Diablo 4 on low settings without the extra ram. I just don’t like to play on low settings. The video card is great!! Was running overwatch just fine.Minecraft just fine. Running discord and Diablo four was using almost 16 of the ram. ... show more

  • got it for a kid and extra pc for the house
Size: GXiVR8040A19
I bought this gaming PC for my 16-year-old, and it’s been a great choice so far. Setup was easy, and it was ready to go right out of the box. It runs games smoothly and handles everything he plays without any problems. He also really likes the look of it with the lights and design. Overall, it’s been reliable and a good purchase for a teenage gamer. No complaints so far. ... show more
