  • Good move! Quality PC!
So I haven't had a tower PC in over 10 years, and such as did not know what to expect. I have been wanting to get back into gaming so I decided it was time to pull the trigger on a desktop. After some research, the CyberPowerPC Xtreme VR Gaming PC seemed liked the best value for what you get. I waited a little while with it on my shopping list because I was slightly worried about some of the early reviews, but after a while it looked like they had taken steps to rectify some of their earlier issues as the reviews began to really become more positive. I purchased the i9-14900KF with the RTX 4070 Super. At first I didn't THINK I noticed that much of a difference, but that was because I hadn't tried any new games yet. I was still just playing WoW, which I could play off my old computer. I decided to download some games my old computer couldn't even look at without crapping the bed. I bought Skyrim and Fallout 4, now I realize these are old games and not the most modern and graphic intensive, but they are fairly decent standards and still hold up today as games that make computers work hard. Downloading the games takes as long as your network speed allows you, and installation takes a matter of minutes (fantastic). In games I'm used to load times between moving from zone to zone or indoors to outdoors, usually you get to stare at a monster or an item for 10-20 secs (or longer) and the load screen will give you some random factoid about said item. But good grief, when I say there is maaaaybe ~1 second between zone swaps, I mean it. Almost imperceptible in some instances. This thing is fast. I use the onboard Nvidia control panel at the moment to control the graphic settings. It pretty much runs itself but it can allow you to tweak things if you feel like it. When setup properly it will automatically adjust your game to "recommended" settings. What that means for me so far, is that it cranks all my game settings up to Ultra, and I have experienced no lag or clipping or graphics issues of any kind so far. The chassis itself is very clean looking, albeit a little wider than I was expecting, but not by much and not inconveniently so. Cable management is quite good, 75% of the tower is empty space so airflow for the 7 fans works well. In my opinion it's incredibly quiet, even when the fans "ramp" up to the highest level it is more than bearable. The RGB lights in the tower are controllable from the onboard program preinstalled with Windows found on the desktop under the recycle bin. Took me about an hour from power on to get Windows installed and updated. The keyboard and mouse (both wired) that came with the computer are a nice bonus. Since I haven't had a quality PC in a while and don't have much to compare it to, I'll say this much, for all the components that are included (more than worth the money if you price out the parts), and the couple of days I've had to play around with it, I am very happy with my decision so far. The 2TB hard drive was a good move, I can tell with the size of games nowadays that's going to be clutch after a few more games. As of Feb/March 2025 these PC's are still coming out of the factory very well made. Edit: Added a few screenshots of Assassins Creed: Shadows (which was a free pre-order gift included at my time of purchase!) These are cut scenes, but the game looks great and runs super smooth at high settings. After some adjusting I'm averaging about 90 FPS. ... show more

  • great office pc
Size: GXiVR8080A41
I bought this system for my office and it’s been a solid choice. Setup was quick and easy, and it runs smoothly for everyday work like emails and documents. It’s compact, doesn’t take up much space, and has been reliable so far—which is exactly what I need balancing work and family. I’ll likely be buying another one for a kid in the family as well. Overall, a good value and gets the job done without any hassle. ... show more

  • Junk
Stay away from Cyberpower PC! This is the second Cyberpower pc that I've purchased on Amazon that has failed due to issues with the video card. Purchased in January 2025 and ran well until about February of this year. Started getting random "A device has failed and your computer needs to restart" messages. Computer tries to repair itself and is unable. The system is unstable and frequently shuts down. Tried uninstalling the driver for the video card and updating the drivers and failed. Got to the point that Windows wouldn't even boot up. Had to completely wipe the drive and install a fresh copy of Windows. Seemed ok for a few days and then the same issues popped up. Had the protection plan from Assurion. Absolute joke and waste of money. They claim its still under warranty from Cyberpower. Cyberpower claims PCs sold via "E Commerce" (meaning purchased through Amazon instead of from Cyberpower directly) only have a 1 year parts and labor warranty. Claim it's up to Assurion to remedy the situation. I will never purchase another Cyberpower PC again. Ditto for the "protection plan." Avoid Cyberpower PC like the plague! ... show more

  • Fast & Beautiful + Better than advertised!
I use my computer for a wide variety of demanding tasks, from VR game development to video editing. So that means I need both a powerful GPU and a fast CPU. This CyberPower Xtreme VR Gamer fits the bill perfectly, and at a very reasonable price point. This is a super fast and gorgeous looking machine. I want to point out some errors in the product listing. It says it only supports WiFi 5, so I bought a WiFi 6e PCIe card at the same time. Imagine my surprise to discover THIS SYSTEM ALREADY HAS WiFi 6e support built into the motherboard! Likewise, it does not have Bluetooth 4.2 as advertised -- it actually has Bluetooth 5.3. Here are some more specifics of the hardware in this machine in case you'd like to dig for more detailed info than is available in the listing: Model: GXiVR8080A38 Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-P WiFi CPU: Intel Core i9 14900KF GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4070 Super RAM: T-Force 32GB(2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz 38-38-38-78 FLRD532G6000HC38ADC01 It has a pair of empty bays to install additional storage, but note that you'll need to provide your own data/power cables. ... show more

  • Excellent Performance and Beautiful Design – Highly Recommend
I’m extremely happy with this computer. It’s very fast and runs smoothly even when I have multiple things open. One of my favorite features is how great it looks when it’s on—the lights make it look really modern and high-end. It also has a black protective cover on top that helps prevent dust from getting inside the PC, which is a great detail to keep the components protected. All the specifications listed are accurate. I’ve owned it for almost a year now and I haven’t had a single problem with it. The performance has been consistent and reliable from day one. Overall, this has been an excellent purchase and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fast and good-quality computer. ... show more

  • i9-14900KF/4070 Super/2TB SSD
**UPDATE JULY 27TH 2025** **Updated the bios and still got crashing, blue screen's etc. Problem was windows 11 itself, computer wouldnt do updates or anything, kept failing. I had to install windows with a usb because wouldnt let me do it thru bios or start menu. Now the computer is running 100000% better, flawless. Not sure what caused the problem, i only use my computer for gaming, no xxx stuff. i also have a good anti virus so it wasnt a virus that caused the problem. I play COD on max settings, fortnite on max settings and no more crashing. Still staying at 4/5 stars just because the way the fans were setup which i explained in my other review updates** **UPDATE MARCH 23RD 2025** **Past months Ive been going into the reviews here just to read up on what people have said or experienced with this pc w/ the 4070 super (when i bought it there was maybe 5 reviews on the 4070 super) I can say i did read JUSTUS review and he is correct, all the fans were daisy chained together. I went in and fixed all that, took me awhile, but now each fan is plug into a sys fan on its own. Lately i have been experiencing alot of crashing on games and/or when im just web browsing. i went into bios and the CPU button is highlighted and i click it and it unhighlight, the changes were the cores (guessing CPU highlighted means overclocking), it ran awesome but the min you want to run ultra on games it crashes. I also have one of the pump fans going bad, i put on smart control for pump fan and the noise no longer there. I will be updating bios as i noticed its not up to date (i bought the pc last year) and will come back for another update in couple months.** There is a lot of mixed reviews from 3 different models of the computer. Ima speak about the i9-14900KF/4070 Super/2TB SSD. First, I want to say for the price of the computer it is a steal vs the other 2 models which offer just a 4070 with 1TB SSD. I've had computer for 3 days now but I'm not new to PC's and know quite on them. People complain about the i9 running hot, I haven't had any issues with it at all. I been gaming on the PC pretty hard and it's a breeze. Only complain about this PC is the fans... Which is the reason for 4 stars. It is pretty loud compared to my other PC's. I decided to buy this PC and not build it myself because of the money you save, which yes, I know is rare to say I bought a pre-built pc and saved money. SPECS: Intel i9 14900KF MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI (MS-7E06) ADATA Legend Gold 800, 2TB Team T-Force Vulcan 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 5600 ZOTAC Gaming 4070 Super Prism 360V Black, tower case 1000v 80+ gold power supply CyberPower 360m Liquid cooler For the price, it's a steal and I would highly recommend this PC before price goes up or it gets discontinued ... show more
