  • Great but time will tell.
Style: 7800X3D/4070 Ti Super
Like many others, I purchased the unit during Prime Day. Several people have asked about it, and I believe it was a flash deal that sold out in less than an hour. With the Prime Day discount, the additional Prime Visa bonus, and cashback, it was an absolute steal. You would have spent more money buying the parts individually to build the unit yourself. In terms of specs, it's an absolute beast and should be future-proof for the next few years for most people. I've had the computer for a week, and although I'm not a hardcore gamer who plays for hours, everything I've tried runs flawlessly at 1440p. However, there are a few things that bother me about the unit. First, the directions are absolutely horrendous. There are several buttons on the top of the unit that change settings like the RGB lighting, but there are no instructions explaining what these buttons do. They just send you a generic manual. Secondly, if you're coming from brands like HP or Dell, be aware that Cyberpower doesn't have support software like HP Support Assistant or Dell's Alienware Command Center. For updates, you either have to rely on Windows, which does a sufficient job, or visit the manufacturers' websites to download the updates or drivers individually. Another thing to note is that, by default, the PC is set to fast start-up, so it doesn't completely shut down. In my case, this meant all the RGB lighting, including the keyboard and mouse, remained on. When I turn off my PC, I want everything off, but each to their own. Speaking of the keyboard and mouse, the ones included are actually decent, particularly the keyboard. However, I would recommend getting a better mouse, especially if you're an MMO gamer. I haven't had the "pleasure" of dealing with Cyberpower's support system (knock on wood), but don't expect it to be any better than Dell, HP, or other big names. There are plenty of horror stories online. Because of the savings, I ended up buying the extra warranty. I'm not advocating for it, but it's something to consider, especially if you plan on keeping the PC for a while and your neophyte when it comes to understanding PC's. I am tentatively giving it a 5/5, but longevity is paramount for anything you purchase now, whether it's a car or a PC. It feels like we pay for bells and whistles at the cost of durability. I'll update my review every month for the next 6 months to see whether it's an actual beast or if it turns into a paper tiger. Update: *10/01/2024* I've played a few AAA games and I'm currently playing Ghost of Tsushima and Overwatch. I've been doing some light work as well, and so far, no issues. ... show more

  • Great day 1 experience
Style: 7800X3D/4070 Ti Super
I recieved my PC yesterday 10 days after I placed my order. It had everything I was shopping for Ryzen 7 7800x3d cpu RTX 4070 ti super gpu, 32 gb ram, 2 TB SSD all prebuilt for less than ot would have cost me to source and build my own rig. Out of the box it was pretty much a plug and play experience once I updated all the drivers. A quick look Asus and Gigabit components they didn't cheap out. This pc is clean and looks amazing. I have a friend that built his own rig for $800 more than I paid for this one. They both have the same exact specs only mine has 1 more TB of storage on the SSD. I tested a few games at max settings at 1440p. Destiny 2 200 FPS, Red Dead Redemption 110 fps dlss quality max settings, Kingdom hearts 3 240 fps max settings, God of War dlss quality I think was around 180 fps, Helldivers 2 around 140 fps, COD MWF 3 around 200 fps with frame gen on, Elden Ring is locked at 60 fps with lossless scaling x3 I was at 180 fps, and x 4 240 fps. x4 was over kill. Warhammer darktide around 110 fps The First Descendant over 160 fps. I still have a lot of testing to do, the thermals were excellent 35 to 57 c, with more intense games creeping in to mid 60's. 65 c was the highest I ever got. The fans ramped up a few times and we're audible loading more intense games. Generally I'd say they were whisper quiet and my rig very cool. I saw someone complain about their wifi speeds claiming 20 mbs. I don't have an option to run a etheirnet cable to my pc. My house is too big and it's just not an option. I have about 48 devices connected to my 1 GBS connection. Yes that's a lot on my bandwith, but I was still pulling 400 mbs based on Okala's speed test. My question to that guy is did you bother to attach your wifi antenna? Great product, I can highly recommend based off of about 8 hours of testing. Of course time will tell and I will update if necessary. ... show more

  • fast but not without issues
Style: 7800X3D/4070 Ti Super
this pc had major problems. it crashed a ton on simple tasks like browsing the web or opening apps. i had to do a complete wipe of the pc, it wouldn't let me do it from the pc so i had to make a usb windows recovery stick to completely reboot it. now it works decent but will still randomly crash when trying to run multiple apps or playing video games. also, it won't let me play diablo 4. it will crash no matter what i try to do to play the game. other than that it's a fast pc with very high fps and i can run it on ultra everything with ray tracing enabled. Update: 9/12/24 Ended up returning the pc. It crashes too much for a high end pc. I will be building my own. Extremely frustrating. ... show more
