When our roomba eats the wires from a set of these we buy another of the same. The price makes that bearable. But we keep coming back to this particular set because the sound quality, sending and receiving, is excellent. They're a little weak where the ear cup attaches to the headband, and we had one set fail there, but that was after 9 months of handling by a 16 year old boy. I'd say that's an acceptable wear failure. Comfortable, and the flexibility with the different jack types makes these really nice to use across devices. We pair with UGREEN USB Audio Adapter External Stereo Sound Card with 3.5mm Headphone and Microphone Jack for Windows Mac Linux PC to make the plug-in options even more flexible. This is the second set I've bought in the past 20 years. The first set still worked, but the ear pads fell apart, due to dry rot (I wasn't using them at all, for years). Despite being very inexpensive, they sound very good. I'm not an audio snob, but I also like decent sounding headphones. These do the trick. Price/performance/comfort simply can't be beat. I use mine connected to my main PC in the living room. In order not to disturb my roommates, I use these headphones whenever I am using my computer, which is pretty often. Comfort is paramount, followed by sound quality. They are very light on my head and ears, and I have grown very used to having them on for extended periods of time. I've had these headphones for a few weeks now, and I'm satisfied! I was just looking for a cheap-ish pair of headphones that could also be used as a microphone (I've been doing more video calls with friends as of recently). As far as I can tell the microphone works great (all my friends can hear me) and is nicely adjustable so you can have it coming from the left or right. The headphones sound great to me, I'm not a music quality connoisseur so they might not hold up to scrutiny if you're picky about that, but I'm not picky and can enjoy my music and talking to friends! Only negative I've noticed is that the sound is a little "leaky" from the headphones. If I take them off I can quietly hear what's coming from them, and when someone is sitting next to me they've sometimes been able to hear what I'm listening to. Not really a problem/concern for me, but if you're looking to be private in a crowded space these might not be ideal. If you just want cheap headphones that ALSO have a microphone? I use headsets about 8-10 hours a day for work and play. I choose them for their audio quality, how well they block out noise around me, how well the mic isolates my voice and how comfortable they feel after wearing several hours at a time. I've bought expensive headsets that last a year (or less) and cheaper brands, about $50, that last 6 months (looking at you MPOW). I've owned couple models of Plantronic and other, cheaper brands with these features. They all were heavy on my head and/or made my ears hot and sore after hours usage. I've decided to change up and try light weight headsets. These "Cyber Acoustics Stereo Headset, Headphone with Microphone" are the first I'm trying. I've used them for four days now. They are lightweight but besides price, that's their only outstanding feature. The audio quality is good enough for my work applications but online music and gaming sound muffled which is disappointing. The ear cuffs feel comfortable enough after several hours usage, my ears don't get too hot nor sore, but the cuffs are stiffer than I want. The stiffness is probably why there's almost no noise canceling; the cuffs don't really conform to my ear so I hear my family and other noises going on around me. The other disappointment is that the people I work or play with tell me that my voice sounds far away or muffled and they can also hear other noise going on around me, sometimes louder than my voice. The audio cable is plenty long enough for me. They entire headset is hard plastic but it looks sleek and nice in matte gray. The headband is stiff yet flexible enough to twist as needed. The boom microphone swivels almost full 360* so you can wear the headset with the mic on either right or left side of your mouth. I believe this headset's description, intended for "K12 School Classroom" customers, is plausible and that their low price makes them perfectly acceptable for other general use. I'll keep these but continue looking for a headset more suitable to me. ... show more

Only the left ear worked upon first use. Unfortunately I didn't use them until after the return period was over so I was stuck with just one sided audio. Then they quit altogether with a month of use.

This headset is amazing for the price. I've been working form home for the last year like a lot of people but the headset the job provided while expensive and nice is not that comfortable & is seem to have audio issues with some legacy teleconference tools we use. I bought this headset with its old fashion two computer front port plugs instead of he USB connector on a whim to see if it would work better with those & Wow. Not only did it work, but no one noticed any quality difference in my audio & the sound was a lot clearer & louder then with the more expensive headset. I now use this tool more often then I use the once provided to me. The only downside is it is less adjustable then the more expensive sets. The headphones do not turn at all, so the size of the headband is really all you can adjust for comfort, but the earpieces are well cushioned so its still pretty comfortable to wear for long periods. ... show more

I bought mine to use for video conferences at my job. My office was a cage in the middle of the production floor in a manufacturing facility and constantly had a lot of background noise. These worked quite well even with my diminished hearing. They would be perfect for use in an office setting!
