Honestly for the price I paid for it I thought it was going to be plastic or hard resin or something, which of course would prove to be useless, but, this things made of METAL! The size does seem a bit bulky, but it fits on my gun like a glove, and honestly the sites. So far are not bad at all! Comes with batteries. Easy to set up, and I mean, once I get it out to the range and do a shock test on it, I'll update, but so far 4 out of 5 stars! ... show more

Install this on my DPMS AK 46 ANVIL 1675.... went to range and shot the 200 yard plates, hold perfect and is dead accurate... I use the cvlife 6x24x60 on my 300 win mag AR 10... THEY BOTH WORK GREAT, My position on cv life is they are killing it with affordable, accurate scopes that actually work... My 300 win mag has held over 100 rounds from a 300 win mag...YES! So for everyone stuck on 500,1000.00 or even 4000k scopes , have at it... I assume they have more money than brains because there are much cheaper scopes that perform just as well under ALL conditions... This is what makes the market available for us and allows the shooter ,not sniper the enjoy there rifle.. ... show more

It's cheap. That was what I was going for when I first bought it. Bore sighted in the scope, and went well. I liked the illumination settings, was very cool when using with low light. Rifle sat in it's padded hard cover case in my every day driver for a while (weeks/months) went out the range months later, and it did not go well. It was so far off I had to move my target from 100 yds, to 50, to 30, to under 20 yards, and still couldn't hit the target. Scope was still secured but couldn't get it to zero in at all and never got a shot on paper in approximately 30 rounds. I get it, I went through the reviews before I bought it, and was hoping it'd be an ok cheap scope like many had reviewed. I hower was one of the unlucky ones. I'm just going to stick with Vortex from now on. A little more money, goes a long way. ... show more

I really like this prism scope on my .300 BLK AR. It fit perfectly and has a nice, crisp reticle that works well in nearly any condition with the adjustable brightness multi-color features.
