It looks nice and I do like it. It's a little pricey for a cutting board but, what isn't expensive these days. It will protect the top of the oven and I don't have to worry about putting something on top of the oven now.

I love being able to keep things on top of the oven. I live in a very small apartment, so am always looking for ways to maximize space. This board works great and doesn't seem to get too hot when the oven is in use. Very happy with this purchase.

    • good cutting board, but...
So, I don't know when it happened, but when I unwrapped the board, it was broken. The plastic shrink wrap was holding it together well enough that it would have been hard to know it was broken. I am handy, I have wood working tools and materials so I was able to mend it, but not everyone does. Since then it's been a good cutting board and hasn't had any other issue. It's been on the counter almost the whole time since I fixed it. We only use it for cutting non-juicy things (juicy meaning raw meat) and it performs it job well. The idea of a heat guard in the form of a cutting board that I also needed was a great idea. It keeps the top of the oven protected from giving burns and the cutting board handy when I need to use it. Great concept and great purchase. Recommended.
