Cutco knives are very expensive, but are worth in. I bought my last one 22 years ago and still have it but it is not as good as new as it was for many years. I just received my new one and it is amazing just like the last one. They are the sharpest knives in the market!!! Well worth the money

The item was not damaged in package or delivery. The item was wrapped properly and package arrived undamaged. The item was sold defective. The crack is the the handle. Bad practice to sell damaged merchandise
