Believe it or not my husband asked for this for Christmas. It fit nicely into his stocking. He wanted it to replace our other Cutco knife exactly like this one only with a brown handle. This one cost a bit less than the brown one. He's had the other one since the '70's and only recently the knife portion started moving a bit freely making it harder to cut stuff. We have used the old one nearly every day all these years as it's our favorite knife hands down. These knives are expensive, but look how long it lasted. No other knife I've ever had has lasted this long or maintained it's functionality either. Now mind you, it doesn't stay sharp forever, no knife does. But I'd recommend it be sharpened professionally rather than do-it-yourself. Several years (say 10) my husband started doing it himself and many of the serrations became dulled over time. This time he isn't going to do that. Of course right now the knife is super sharp and shiny, a really nice piece. And it comes in a cardboard sleeve which we are storing it in. I plan to purchase a permanent sleeve on Amazon soon. Highly recommend Cutco knives.

Get the white one so it does get mixed up with your other knife. You will grab it for everything. I have mine 14 years and still PERFECT!!! I also cook ALL THE TIME!!

This is a great knife for slicing small loaves of bread, cutting a pineapple or anything that is sturdy that needs a strong blade with a serrated edge. Caution - this knife is sharp, but it works better than anything I can buy in the store.

This is my second Trimmer. My first is 15 years old and it’s still as good as new and this new one is exactly the same. Excellent value! I highly recommend this knife!

I bought several of these knives to use for steak knives. I like having a sharp knife that cuts well, instead of tearing through the meats.
