I needed something with better wrist support, it was a little short in length and came up to my wrist which made my hand hang. Thumb loop didn't help very much. I had surgery on a nerve at my elbow which led to pain in my wrist and tips of my fingers. I only needed it when heading out of the house so my arm didn't throb when hanging or swaying. Worked well for the short time I needed it but I don't think I could wear it 24/7 for long periods if I had a more serious problem.

I hurt my shoulder and decided to get a more comfortable sling than the one I was given at the doctors office, so I bought this one. It took me a second to figure out how to set it up, because the instructions were very unclear, but I was finally able to put it together. I am only 4 feet and 10 inches tall, and when I read the reviews, I was worried it wouldn't fit, but the fit was okay. My arm isn't fully lifted, even on the tightest setting, but it still works ok. It's a great quality item and very durable, I just wished they used different sizes to accommodate different customers.

Seems okay. Haven't had my surgery yet. But forget the phone pocket. Only for small phone. But not that important to me.

I ordered this because the sling I got from emergency was nearly impossible to figure out and didn’t adjust. This on adjusts easily and fits well. . Looks good and is comfortable.

Once I got this thing in the mail, when you take it out of the box, there is literally no instructions how to put it together. You would think it should be intuitive, but it is not. Good thing it has pictures on the box what it is supposed to look like assembled or I'd be frustrated. If you are a tall person, it will seem too short for you. I am 5ft 11 inches and this thing feels small. I don't understand why it has 2 thumb supports. But here is how to put it together: where your arm support is there is a velcro strap. Unlock the velcro strap and insert it into the shoulder support buckle, then relock the velcro in place. There is an adjustment strap to lengthen if needed. This shoulder support is mainly for a right arm. Turning it around to use it to support the left arm is doable but not the strap controls will be against your chest this harder to adjust.
