Love this carrier and my cats love it too. I needed a large carrier that is chemical free for my Simba, a Flame Point Balinese . He is quite large and very fluffy and weighs 11.5 ponds. Simba climbed right in it and he had plenty of room to move around and loves being able to see out of it. He outgrew the other carrier which is probably a more standard size and had no room to move around. Haven't picked him up in it but it seems pretty sturdy but I always carry my carriers with both hands so they don't get dumped around and more scared. My other cat Elvis is Siamese and weighs 10.2 pounds and I will probably get him one of these carriers so he has more room too. Bought 2 for my mother-in-law after I tried to capture her 2 cats and her hard plastic carriers were in very poor shape! She loves these, they are relatively easy to get the cats into, light enough for her to carry (she’s 85) and she loves the colors and that they fold up easily

I bought this because I’m taking my cat on a plane trip across country. It is pretty sturdy and solid’ the design is perfect with three large openings. It is mostly stable while carrying and walking. I have a big boy cat who’s almost 20 lbs and he is able to stand up and turn around. Very nice
