It took around 10 minutes to heat up a tea kettle to boiling point. 650 watts is not much to begin with, all you need is a little more time and patience to cook a meal other than that it's a good looking burner and it does the job well.

The cusimax hot plate is easy to use and turn on, I use it everyday to cook ramen and noodles to my daughter.It has the smooth texture and great function. Highly recommend this excellent product!

Well, it's a good looking item on a photo and also when sitting in your kitchen. Having said that, the one that I got did not sit evenly on a flat surface no matter how I tried to adjust it or adjust the legs underneath. The surface area around the heating elements is a thin sheet of metal that will easily sustain small scratches. You would hear the same hollow sound you would get by tapping an empty can. The most dangerous is that the heat adjustment knobs do not lock in position which will cause you to sometimes perhaps accidentally turn then on without noticing it. Imagine leaving this oven on without noticing it. This particular unit came with a big scratch. I don't think it was caused by bad shipping because the box was in perfect condition when it arrived. Too bad because there are not many 110V-120V, three heating elements cookers of this type out there.
