I love this deep fryer. At first the handle doesn’t fit the inside of the clamps but then I saw something while surfing the net. You can put the handle into the outside clamp as in the first pic. Through the holding clamp and it clicks into it. Wow had to figure it out on my own so I hope that helps everyone because at first I had to trade mines in because I thought it was broken. So far so good. I have used this deep fryer a few times now for my fries and chicken. It is larger enough to hold 3 chicken wings or 3 chicken legs at one time. It seems easy to use, but I still figuring out how to know when the grease is hot and ready. I wish it had some sort of indicator light. Otherwise it works as expected. ... show more

I am pleased with this CUSIMAX Electric Deep Fryer with Basket. The packaging is gift-able and professional. This would be a lovely holiday gift. The fryer has a temperature limit according to the box that I wasn't expecting. It seems to fry small potato fries decently.

Sometimes I just want the flavor of real fried food! I'm one of those fortunate folks who doesn't have to worry about cholesterol but I have used an air fryer for several years now because I believed it was a healthier way to cook. And fish filet turn out pretty decent in the air fryer but I never can quite get the right amount of CRUNCH. I rushed right out to buy frying oil when I received this deep fryer. My fish filet was wonderfully crunchy. Hushpuppies were crunchy. French fries were crispy. Okay, that was way too many calories for one meal but it was oh, so good. This deep fryer is very easy to use. The hardest part was attaching the handle to the fry basket. It was awkward at first but I finally got it put together. I took it apart and attached it again and repeated that a couple times. Now it's simple, quick and easy to attach/remove the fry basket handle. Now I'm thinking donuts... ... show more

1. The fryer only heats up to 374 degrees, which is not nearly high enough to fry corn tortillas. The lower temperature takes longer for the tortillas to fry properly, therefore, they soak up too much oil. 2. You can not remove the inner part to pour the oil out without making a mess, and the inner bucket cannot be washed and cleaned properly. ... show more
