I bought this to use with my Presto 16 qt pressure canner. Sadly, the way the heat clicks on and off when it's on its highest setting, it won't heat enough to build up steam in the canner. I left it on high for over an hour and it was still warm enough for me to touch the side with my hand. And it was loaded with all hot ingredients, jars and water. I really wish I could find a burner like this that could handle a pressure canner. This is probably a good burner if all you want to do is normal cooking (although I'm not sure if you wanted to bring a large pot to boil) so I still gave it a good rating. They probably should include in the description that it cannot be used for pressure canning.

I use this burner as a daily and it is the best electric burner I've ever owned. The only "complaint" is that the black printed labels on the eye itself rub off with grease and cleaners. However, it is very easy to clean. The high setting works very well for an electric stove-eye and is consistent. It works very well for a small/ single person household, and fits most of my pots and pans. The temperature control knob also does not lock into the off position, so it's very easy to accidentally rotate into the on position when cleaning it. I would make sure to leave it unplugged when not in use. I would buy this cusimax burner again.

I bought this for an efficiency apartment and it is a dream. Heats very fast and easy to clean. Good looking, too. It does get a bit hot underneath so if you don’t have a stone or tile countertop, look for a silicon pad to place under it. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love this double hot plate, especially for use during our camping adventures. This hot plate allows us to cook outside and save on using propane. It does take a little longer to bring a pot of water up to boiling. We're camping so there's no clock to watch. Great investment for our camping adventures.
