Pretty solid bracket. U-Haul installed my towing package and zip tied the 4 prong hookup to the frame instead of using some sort of bracket such as this one. I purchased this bracket and some hardware to mount it from a local store and installed it with ease. The 4 prong hookup doesn’t really “snap” into place, but it feels very secure when pushed into place. I would definitely purchase again if I needed a mount for the hookup. ... show more

I had Uhall install the trailer hitch, which was a great job except they did not place the cables and the socket in a bracket, they said they didn’t have the right size and I was supposed to go back and they would finish the job. I waited a long time. Called a few times and they still didn’t have the part available. I decided to give it a try and ordered this bracket from Amazon. Arrived fast. I measured and it was perfect absolutely the perfect size for the 4-way flat connector socket. I just screwed it under the bumper near the hitch receiver tube and it looks amazing. My SUV looked cheap with the cables just tied to the hitch. Now it looks great. It does not come with screws so I had to use my own screw/nuts, I had small ones which worked perfect for it. ... show more

A bit difficult to find a location to bolt it on to my Hyundai Ioniq 5, but the bracket itself is sturdy. As Manny others have noted, unless you have a Curt brand wiring harness, sliding the male connector into the slot in the bracket is difficult. Wasn’t expecting much. I thought it was just going to be a thin piece of metal bracket. This mount is much more substantial than I expected. Well made, very strong, and nice powder coated finish. There definitely is a forward/correct way to mount it though. I originally had it mounted backwards and had trouble trying to push in the 4way flat wiring harness into the bracket. If installed in the proper orientation, it’s designed to be able to insert the harness into the bracket easily (pops into location) and remain there securely. This metal plate is very well thought out for the 4 pin trailer connection. I bought it because I recently bought a hitch from the same brand for my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. In fact, I bought everything from the same brand and I couldn't be happier with how perfect everything turned out.
