My initial reaction to the Curlsmith defuser was mixed. This defuser is big! But after using it for a month, I am a fan. The amount of time it takes to defuse your hair is all relative to the length and density of your hair. I have shoulder length, very thick, very curly hair. It takes approximately 12 to 15 minutes. I love the heat setting. You can blow on high at a medium temperature and have beautiful curls. So easy to use. Does it cause frizz? As I use high quality products, I don’t have frizz issues. I can’t speak to the matter. Would I recommend these Curlsmith Defuser to all my curly friends? Absolutely! Although a bit expensive, well worth the money.

Perfect blow dryer and diffuser. My daughter can have very voluminous hair with this diffuser. Sometimes I just feel that the buttons get in the way when you're holding it but it also makes it easier to click changes. It's also very cute and sleek with the black velvet and gold

Felt cheap and smelled like burning plastic (I’m in the US so the voltage and whatnot was all correct). Barely got hot and I’m not even sure if I was sent a new item because there was zero information included as to what the buttons/functions were. It’s light but still big and bulky to navigate around your head. And it absolutely did not cut my drying time at all; in fact, it felt like it was taking longer and that’s probably because it didn’t feel like it was that hot even though I played around with all of the settings.
