I never leave product reviews.. so it’s saying something when I felt the absolute need to leave one for this crimper!! I have naturally wavy hair but since I run my hands through it during the day, it leaves my waves flat. I bought this in hopes of touching up my waves so that I wouldn’t have to wet and recrunch it every morning! THIS CRIMPER IS AMAZING!! I don’t get the smell everyone is talking about. I think they are just burning their hair and blaming the crimper. I use mine at 280° (lowest) for 8 seconds and it does the job! If I do 300° I do it for 6 seconds. I have long thick hair so it takes me about an hour to do (sectioned and small pieces). The pictures: -In the bathroom, I crimped my hair Sunday night, and this was my hair Monday afternoon. -In my bedroom, these were taken Wednesday night (3 days later)! Waves still in tact and gorgeous! I only touched up my top layers because I run my hands through them which ultimately flattens the waves. It is now Thursday and the waves are still gorgeous. I’ll wash my hair Friday just because my hair is getting greasy from product. Pro’s: 1. Heats up quickly 2. Can set timer to beep after 6, 8, 10 seconds 3. Super easy to use (I got the hang of if after my first use, which was like 30 minutes of practice) 4. Waves last all day & overnight 5. Super easy to touch up flat waves if they’ve straightened out over night Cons: 1. It turns off after a certain amount of time, even if I’m still using it. Not a big deal, just kind of annoying. 2. I still haven’t mastered how to prevent the crease from the first crimp closest to my roots, but thankfully after 30 or so minutes, the crease disappears so it’s not that big of a deal!

Okay, I'm going to start off by saying I SUCK AT DOING MY OWN HAIR. I have bought so many styling tools over the years and can just never get the hang of how to use them. 99% of the time, I straighten my hair or just twist it up in a clip. Until I read some reviews and decided to try this out. And I have to say, it's really been a game changer in my look and my hair routine. It is literally idiot-proof 😅 you take a small section, clamp it down and when it beeps, you move down the hair and repeat the process. It looks and works better if you do small sections of hair at a time. I typically take half of my hair and clip it up and do the underside in 4-5 sections and then undo the clip and do the top half in 4-5 sections. The whole process is so fast. I can do my whole head in 15 minutes or less. My hair doesn't like to hold curls very well, but with this tool I can do this in the morning, and it will still look great the next day. Super awesome tool, and I'm so happy I took a chance on this! It gives a soft, retro wave to your hair. Very romantic. I'm having so much fun changing up my look!

Love, love this hair crimper! It is so easy to use and has a rubber pad on the tip so you don't burn your fingers. Great for short hair and does great on the longer hair as well. Size is great as the ones that are 3 barrels tend to get difficult to use and was constantly burning myself. It locks up nicely for packing as well. I have 3 daughters with all different types of hair and it works great on all of them. Even the one with really thick hair. Very light compared to the other one we have. great value for the price, no need to buy the one that is 3x the price. This works perfectly!

I am so impressed with the TYMO ROVY Beach Waver! This curling iron/crimper hybrid is a total game-changer. I love it ! Really easy to use . I need a little more practice, but for the most part my hair looks great. I've gotten so many compliments after using this Hair Crimper, and what I like the best is styling will last for two days with maybe a little touch ups .

I wanted this to work so badly and to be my “go to” iron. I have thin, fine hair and it definitely gave it some body, but not in a pretty way. I didn’t get those luxurious looking, defined waves like they show in the picture. I ended up looking like Troy Polamalu with a frizzed mess of crimped hair. I found that the larger paddle was a bit tricky to work with, but appreciated the silicone no-burn grip to get a good clamp on your hair. The beep is nice to signal when it’s done….when it works. I unfortunately had a few times where it didn’t work and ended up scalding my hair. The placement of the buttons is nice so that you can’t inadvertently shut it off or change the temperature. As a comparison I tried the con air triple waver and this one is definitely MUCH better quality. Nice packaging, good presentation, nice digital temp readout. Just didn’t work for me.

I love how smooth and shiny my hair looks after using it, and it doesn’t snag or pull while styling.
