The media could not be loaded. After purchasing another similar machine which did not work, was cheaply made and was a major disappointment for my 6 yr old grandson on his birthday. I ordered this this one after returning the original machine My g-son was sooooo happy and my daughter said it worked like a charm. I liked the design because of the ice depositing until an enclosed container there wasn’t a big mess to clean up due to the melted ice or just in general missing the container. The best part is this machine is the lever you apply for pressure On the ice to shaves it appropriately and efficiently, Which is very important to make the ice otherwise it just hangs in the chute and won’t grind. My daughter has been hinting that she has wanted a snow-cone machine for a while, but I didn't consider it very practical since we have a blender. I saw this one from Cuisinart and decided to take a chance. Well...I regret...not getting this sooner. She uses it several times a week and it makes perfect snow cones. It's easy enough to use and easy to clean, so it is certainly more practical than using a blender for making shredded ice. Works great, kids love it but know the ice is coarse. Easy to use and clean up. There are complaints about the noise, but it is grinding ice.. No big deal for me.

I purchased this snow cone machine for my daughter’s one year party and it was a hit with the kids! It’s easy to use and the kids loved watching the ice become crushed. It also comes with 4 reusable cups that can be easily washed. We used the disposable ones for the party and still have plenty left over! Although I rated it a 5 Becasue I loved it, I will say it is very LOUD. If you’re not wanting something loud it isn’t for you. But! If you don’t care, then I’d recommend the machine. ... show more

This ice shaver looks pretty in red. Brings out the "happy" in any celebration or get together. The machine is easy to operate. When you feed the ice, a gentle push will activate the machine. It has a safety feature that when you open the ice feeder, machine automatically stops even when switch is turned on. It has a big shaved ice reservoir so you don't have to frequently open and empty it. It's a time saver. There are also 4 cone cup holders on both sides. Pretty handy. Ice scoop is round shaped to give the treat top a nice dome shape. It produces a nice, fine shaved ice, perfect for snow cone or Halo-halo snack!
