So far so good. I have used it to make smoothies and shakes...chop fresh tomatoes for sauce...protein drinks. It's small, looks good, cleans up in a jiff and is fine for what I need.I didn't want a regular size big blender sitting on my counter all the time, wanted something that didnt take up alot of counter space yet gets the job done.I dont like alot of appliances out all the time or ones I have to constantly put away. So its this little blender & a toaster...thats it and thats what I wanted. This blender packs enough power I think for anything I will be using it for.I like it has 2 speeds and not a ton of buttons that need constant wipe inbetween to clean off the drippings.You can only make 1 large smoothie at a time, but thats ok for me. This is great for a 1 or 2 people usage, if you have a bigger family, then its too small. ... show more

This is the third one I've gotten. Lots or love about this unit. Except that they wear out too quickly. Handy size and easy to use. Plenty of drink n go sized cups. The motor in the base is strong enough for smoothies. Almost. Crunches down ice cubes fairly well but, like I said wears out. The blade is designed poorly and gets hard to turn in a short time. The bearing is not sealed well enough. Replacements cost 3 times what they should. Same for the main gasket. I was able to find the same size gasket at an industrial supply 3 for a dollar. I'd like one of the 900w ones but this one is $40 and lasts a year or two. The $20 last just a few weeks. ... show more

7/19 Worked good at first, used it a half dozen times when I received it. I packed it up for storage and put it away. Two years later I took it out to use it again and it is dead. Checked and tried everything I could. IT IS NOW IN THE TRASH!!! -8/17 I could not tell this blender is refurbished, The packaging and all parts look like it is fresh from the factory. Works great. First smoothie I Peeled and sectioned two oranges blended for a few seconds until smooth, added four chunks of frozen pineapple and four pitted frozen cherries blended about 30 seconds until smooth. this blender handled the frozen fruit with no trouble at all. Just make sure the pin on the bottom lines up with the push switch in the motor when inserting the cup into the motor section or it will not turn on. ... show more

    • Pretty good blender, but not for every day use forever.
This is my second of these blenders. I am giving it 4 stars because I've used it continuously every morning for work for 3 years (was my first Prime purchase!) but I had to replace the blender blade part after two years of ownership, and then almost exactly a year later it seized again, after washing it religiously after each use. So I ended up buying a refurb one to replace it. So I've loved the convenience of blending directly in my to-go cup. I like it a lot better than blending and pouring into a cup. ... show more

I loved this product so much!!! This was my second purchase. The only problem for me is the company is not making it anymore. I used it to make my smoothies and the personal size was just enough for me. Good work Cuisinart.

I searched for a cordless blender. This came up didn't say anything about being electric. Pictures didn't show a cord on Amazon or in the box. When I opened I was surprised to see it need to be plugged in. It's being returned.

Have had this for several months and use it all the time. Makes great shakes, even blends a few pieces of ice or frozen fruit in. Occasionally a piece of ice gets jammed at the start, but I just shake it loose and it works. Love that there are several cups as 2 people use it and often cups are in the dishwasher. The grinder works great for grinding nuts/seeds or turning granular sweetener to powder. Takes up very little space on the counter. ... show more
