Good knives....very sharp....good price....like the covers.......but as others have said be careful when washing or if they get wet while using.....handles are smooth and become slippery.....have gotten myself a few times with the paring knife....but would still buy again

I was once the proud owner of the 5 piece multicolored knife set that lasted me about 4 years before I decided to hand them down and buy myself this new set. This set seems a little more heavy which I like. I actually cut my finger removing the big knife that is by itself in the display window of the packaging as it was the only knife not in its protective sheath. So be careful removing the displayed knife. These bad boys are sharp. The handles sparkle and are not matte like the colored knife set. I like that this set has a better variety of knives than the previously owned set. Time will tell if they stay sharp like the last set did as well as if the handles stay shiny and sparkly. 5 out of 5 for now and forever most likely. ... show more

I have some cuisinare knives that I paid around 24$ for. They are not nearly as sharp and the same quality. I love these and ordered 2 more sets for my boys.
