Absolutely beautiful and the knives are so sharp and amazing quality. The only thing I’ve noticed after having them for a few months is if you put them in the dishwasher they will rust out a little bit. I wasn't actively looking for a knife block set, although I knew I would get one eventually. Amazon recommended this to me on my home page and the second I saw it I knew I had to have it! The designs that are etched onto the knives is what really sealed the deal for me - I loved how they matched the block and were also not your typical looking kitchen knife. They are stunning to look at, have a nice weight to them (I was a little worried after seeing the words "hollow handle" that they might feel cheap, but you'd never even know they're hollow!), and are super sharp. I like that the block adds a little pop of something to my counter and is nicer to look at than the average black/brown/natural wood color. I would highly recommend this set to anyone and everyone! And now I've also gone and purchased myself the Dutch oven and stand mixer to really round out the counter! Gotta love when pieces connect like that, am I right?! ... show more

THESE KNIVES ARE GORGEOUS AND HEAVY AND VERY SHARP. They are almost too beautiful to use. The etching engraved on the blades is gorgeous. Very elegant. I LOVE THEM! They are worth every dime I paid for these beauties.

This is sold in local department stores but, the best price was here. I love this set, it matches my decor and the design on the knives add a cute element. Im nit a top chef, but i dont wash my knives in the dishwasher. Knives are sharp enough for me!
