Perfect for river float trips! We have taken our CUDDY Crawler Cooler WITH WHEELS (because it can be purchased without wheels) on half a dozen day-long trips down the Brazos. It does everything it claims to do, keeping all our refreshments, first aid, etc ice cold all day. Completely sealed and waterproof. Storage capacity is generous. The weight of the cooler can get up there when completely filled with ice and supplies. However, it pulls like a wagon over dry terrain, and rolls through the low parts of the river where floaters occasionally have to walk. The cooler is often identified by other river rafters and beach combers who’ve marveled but not purchased the product. We assure you, our CUDDY has been a wise purchase for the money. Love this cooler. We used it to float down a river. It worked as described . It's not as insulated as a yeti but ice last for a while. Especially if your floating it in a cold river like we did. The wheels are easy to remove. Putting them back on while it was still floating was a bit tricky. ( we took them off while floating to reduce drag) . It doesnt have a drain plug but its easy enough to tip over and let the water come out. ... show more

    • Cheaply Made with Huge Price Tag

Overall, the Cuddy Crawler is a really cool cooler that floats well. However, it has a price tag of a Yeti while made with stunningly cheap pieces. While the cooler functions fine, it isn't of the quality you expect for $300. Where it completely fails is the cheap Velcro used to fasten the wheels to the cooler. Once wet, you will find your wheels falling off if not on smooth ground. I've had these things fly off even with just a little gravel. Pulling it up a curb solo and slightly bump the wheels? They fall off. It's astounding that they would charge $300 and put on the cheapest possible wheel system they could. Also, they didn't consider anything about where to Stowe the wheels once you want to take them off. Seems like a missed opportunity for some ingenuity. I bought this to float the river in a tube. I have to tie the wheels to the sides of my tube to get them down river safely. I don't have an answer for what they should do here, but it's an obvious problem. Overall, it's still a really neat cooler that got a lot of attention at the river, and I didn't want to give just one star after all the compliments and intrigue. However, given how cheaply made it is and the outrageous pricetag, I felt a moral obligation to warn people that it's looks are deceiving. To GoSports - Please make some kind of fastener to hold the velcro together so I don't have to stress about the wheels falling off every time there is a bump on the road. ... show more

I bought this for my S.O. For his birthday and it was a total hit. Not many people have seen this so we get tons of questions about it. We brought it out at our 1st pool party of the season and everyone went crazy over it. We used it as a resting table/drink holder in the pool and it was nice people didn’t have to get out to grab another drink. I love that it has wheels because full coolers are heavy! It’s nice that the top is flat because we can load chairs beach bags or whatever on top when needed. We plan to take it on our next float trip as well.
