I love this watch. I get lots of compliments and questions about where I got it. The face and the band are not water proof or water resistant so do your best not to get them wet, but a little here and there won’t hurt them too much - the band more so than the face. I have had it for 18 months now and the band gave out a day or so ago after wearing it every day. I’m going with a different brand of wooden watch this time, just so that I will be able to replace the band later with a standard sized replacement. So far I haven’t found anything that would work, hence 4 stars. I would love to just replace the band and keep going.

Love to wear the watch. I actually liked the idea of taking off my Rolex Datejust for a little while to fall in love with it again, and thought this one looked fantastic, especially for $22. And, as the photo shows, it came looking just like the product page. Only hitch was, after a couple of days, I realized the discomfort I was feeling on my wrist was due to the loose thread-ends in the band--they were digging into my wrist, top and bottom, like little irritants. I took a nail file, using the rougher side, and filed down these ends; a small, fresh piece of 200-grade sandpaper might work as well. I could have skipped doing the outside of the band; but I wanted all the loose edges smoothed, so I kept going. As my photo shows, the result is some unevenness in the hue of the watchband. You'll get what you paid for if you buy the watch, and maybe you can file down the loose edges more carefully than I did...or maybe you like the slightly-broken-in look, as I do.

I have been wearing Cucol watches for a few years, and I love that when I decide to order a new one I can get something that is stylish, affordable and can be worn with pretty much anything. This one is great because of the wooden design and the fact that it is great for yourself or as a gift. Comes in a nice box and to me makes the statement that it is meant to stand out. Fits well and is something I can wear with just about any of my clothes, whether it's casual or something more dressy. It's easy to read and to maintain. That is why I think I keep coming back to the brand. They make watches that fit any style.

This is a really large (even on my 7 1/4" wrist) watch, not Diesel huge but still large. I haven't taken the back off to verify it's got the Miyota movement claimed but it's been dead on accurate as one would expect from a quartz watch. I purchased it because I wanted a bamboo watch to throw int he mix of my otherwise large and heavy collection, and it fit the mold to a T. It is super comfortable and light weight to wear and goes well with virtually any brown accessories. I have not tested it and do not intend to but this watch is not water proof or even very water resistant, be careful around water beyond washing hands. As mentioned it is pretty darn large, at $20 when the battery dies I may end up replacing it with the ladies version which is a bit smaller and has more normal proportions for those with wrists around 7" or smaller.

It's wild how many compliments I get wearing this thing. It's light-weight, and the single color makes it easy to swap in and out of outfits. I gave it 4 stars because it feels pretty cheap to the touch, and (for me) the leather strap got heavily damaged after the slightest exposure to water. No issues with the watch piece itself. But for the price, this is an attractive watch that should go a long way as long as you take care of it.

I bought this for my husband for our 5 year anniversary (traditional gift is wood). I worried about the band being big enough, but it's great. He still has a few notches he can use! Good quality, looks sleek with no clunky logo on the face.

My husband and I bought these as groomsmen gifts for our wedding. They looked like the picture and came quickly. Our only complaint was that the thicker lines for the hour marks are not especially easy to see. But overall we are happy with the product and the look.
