We had the first gen and current camera and we have enjoyed this camera when it works but after around a year or so it stops functioning. The connection is constantly spotty and will just disconnect on its own. Reconnecting will test your patience and you’re better off just resetting the camera. The customer support is pretty useless with their same instructions that basically does nothing. They’ll take you on the round about with the camera and even your router, even though wifi connection to everything else in your home works perfectly fine. Honestly, i am a working mom who really doesnt have time to go back and forth through emails to try and get a $250 camera to work reliably. Power cycling the camera works for a maybe a night and then the connection issues occur again. Our first gen camera is basically useless now and regretably it seems the second gen camera will also have the same fate and it has yet to be a year since we’ve had the camera. We will not be purchasing this camera again and very much recommend another camera if you want something that will last you more than a year.

I originally purchased the Miku pro but quickly realized the camera was not functional for the $ this was incredibly disappointing. I wasn’t receiving any notifications for movement or noise, which is the sole purpose of a baby monitor. Customer service did not help at all and insisted it was user error. After struggling to get it to work for weeks I gave up. I wanted a monitor that didn’t require wearables and could connect to my smart phone. The Cubo Plus worked perfectly, seamless connection to Wi-Fi and real time notifications for everything. The app is intuitive and works well. The Miku Pro app was difficult to navigate. If you want Easy Setup and high level alerts: such as face covered don’t hesitate to buy this camera! Also love that it comes with a stand, if you don’t want to drill holes. Other similarly priced cameras require you to purchase them separately.
