I really like this monitor, I do recommend it to others but know the drawbacks. Pros: - It’s cute. Fits in well with our nursery. - Great day and night vision. - Purchase comes with different setups. (Flood stand, wall, and travel) - The breathing sensor gives me good piece of mind. My baby was born 6 weeks early so it calmed my nerves. - Good analytics - if we forget when we put our baby down to sleep I can easily find it by using playback or analytics. Cons: - I cannot add a family member to the app and easily turn on/off access. I have to delete them as a user when they leave our house and add when they return. This can be solved by using an iPad as a monitor but an access option would be easier. - Would like the option to purchase a display. Again- iPad is an option but this would be a good feature. - You cannot use the sleep sensor pad without the camera. - Wi-Fi connection is not saved. When traveling, you need to go through the entire Wi-Fi reconnection. Then when returning home, you have to go through it again. This could be a safety feature- I’m not sure. It is a hassle. - My husband has my user as admin but I cannot add/delete users or setup Wi-Fi. Another hassle. - not many accessories to purchase. We would like a second floor stand but it’s not an option on the website. - For the price, I feel this should include a traveling case. ... show more

I purchased this for my daughter and her husband. When they got home her husband immediately put it together and tested all the features. He was very impressed. One of the selling points was the breathing and roll over feature. An added bonus was for my son-n-law when he was in the field or on deployment, he could use the app to see his child from where he was. He is in the military, he has a job that requires his entire focus on his job and not worrying about home. I hope this will help him. ... show more

TLDR - don’t buy this monitor unless you want frequent alerts that your baby isn’t breathing (even when baby is breathing), and then terrible customer support just saying that’s “just how it is.” Full review: I did so much research when I was deciding on a baby monitor. I thought the CuboAi was so cute and would go well in my nursery, and I liked a lot of the listed features. The sleep sensor pad seemed like a brilliant way to monitor baby’s breathing while sleeping, to relieve fears about SIDS, without having to put a sock or band on baby each night. I debated seriously between the Nanit, the Miku, and the CuboAi but decided on the CuboAi. Don’t make the same mistake that I did! Initially we had baby in a Snoo in our room, right next to the bed. We finally moved baby to the crib in the nursery at 6 months, and I was very worried that baby might stop breathing and I wouldn’t know, since we weren’t room sharing anymore. Things went ok the first two nights in the nursery and then I got a “critical alert” that baby wasn’t breathing. I rushed up to the nursery and grabbed my baby, who was thankfully still breathing, but who was now awake and less than pleased to be woken up suddenly. It was a horrible, indescribable feeling to be told your baby might be dead—my chest felt like I couldn’t breathe either, and time seemed to move in slow motion until I had my (breathing) baby in my arms again. After that, I began to get deluged with critical “not breathing” alerts. Dozens of them, so many I can’t count them in the app. They kept me up at night, because I would get the alert and then carefully try to watch the video to make sure baby’s chest was moving. I reached out to customer support about it, sent them copies of all my settings, the critical alerts, information about the crib and mattress, photos of everything. They took up over a week of my time before finally stating that this was just how it is with the product—that if baby moves away from the center of the mattress or touches the edge of the crib railing, then the sleep sensor pad will send alerts that baby isn’t breathing. When I expressed how unacceptable this was, as babies move around in cribs when sleeping and there’s nothing you can do to stop that, customer support offered to send me a new sleep sensor pad. But they said that nothing was wrong with the one I had, that the new one would be the same thing I already had, and they wanted me to mail back the old one too. They refused to provide a replacement product that would actually work, and they did not stand behind their product with a refund. I am posting this review to save other parents from paying hundreds of dollars to experience the same heart dropping fear that CuboAi made me feel. Just get the Nanit instead, I’ve heard from friends that it’s really great. I am planning to buy a Nanit now, as the second very expensive baby monitor purchase I’ll have to make, since CuboAi was an absolute waste of money. ... show more

We absolutely love this baby monitor and sleep bundle. Our son was born 1 month premature and we were worried about leaving him in his crib alone. The app works great to notify us if the baby has anything going on we should worry about, covered face, no movement, or crying. About a month into using the monitor, it wouldn't connect and the app would just spin. We contacted support and it was a bit disheartening that we weren't able to call, we had to chat through the app. Chatting wouldn't be so bad, but each response took about 30 minutes to come through. When you have a newborn, time is precious, so sitting waiting for a response to troubleshoot was very frustrating. We ended up returning the original bundle via amazon and now the 2nd bundle works great. We are now 3 months in with no issues. ... show more

I originally purchased the Miku pro but quickly realized the camera was not functional for the $ this was incredibly disappointing. I wasn’t receiving any notifications for movement or noise, which is the sole purpose of a baby monitor. Customer service did not help at all and insisted it was user error. After struggling to get it to work for weeks I gave up. I wanted a monitor that didn’t require wearables and could connect to my smart phone. The Cubo Plus worked perfectly, seamless connection to Wi-Fi and real time notifications for everything. The app is intuitive and works well. The Miku Pro app was difficult to navigate. If you want Easy Setup and high level alerts: such as face covered don’t hesitate to buy this camera! Also love that it comes with a stand, if you don’t want to drill holes.
