I am 5 ft 5" and size 20 or 1x. Originally purchased a size 3x, but it was too large in the shoulders and the wrists. The 2xl, though just about zips up, allows a lot less water to seep in. Quality of this top is good. Still a little extra room in the wrists, but since upper arms fits snugly. not an issue. Would purchase again. I suggest that you seek the smallest possible size you can "squeeze" into.

I liked the fit on the small. Was a bit longer in the torso than others I've ordered. Only drawback is the sleeves are a bit short, and I am only 5 foot two. I would have added another inch on the sleeves.

Very good quality and look. I am a Plus size and this looked better than expected and I loved the zippered pockets. However, the wrists were too big and would let water in. I returned bc we decided a full wet suit was enough for our trip. I like the look but would have had a problem or had to find a solution for the wrist allowing in water.

The fabric and body fit of this wetsuit jacket are perfect, but the sleeves are much too wide. There's a large gap at my wrist and loose fabric all the way up my arms to my shoulders. When I swim freestyle in the ocean, air flows into the sleeves and then presses out at the back of my shoulder, and cold water flows freely through the sleeves - which defeats the purpose of a wetsuit. I feel like the photo does not adequately show the product, because it shows the sleeves as being tight against the model's arms and wrists, which is not the case in the size I purchased (I'm a size 12, 5'6" & 150lbs, and bought a Large). Otherwise, this is a great thick jacket with a good look.

I use this for lake swimming and stand up paddling (SUP). Pros: - zippered pockets are great for taking your car key along safely. I also bring my phone in the other pocket. - definitely keeps me warmer, both on the board and in the water - reflecting material is a great touch - because it is a jacket style, I was able to go directly to a hike without going home to change - no problems with the material or seams, and it got a good trial! Cons: - neoprene doesn’t allow you to slide back on the board, so if you combine SUP and a swim (or take a spill off the board) it is harder to get back on. This is so with any neoprene (until someone designs it better, ha)! - swimming with it on will take some getting used to. It just requires adapting to it - despite the advantage of a zippered front, I needed help to get it off when wet. Have someone around to tug the sleeve for you. Summary: This was a great buy! I am quite pleased with it, and would never ever want to be without the zippered pockets again. I hope that this review is helpful to you; do let me know, and happy shopping!

Our pool cools off quickly in September and I got this jacket to see if I could extend its use. It is working well for that purpose. The fabric is thick but does not impede my swimming stroke. It keeps my torso warm enough that I can enjoy swimming for a few more weeks.
