Though the chandelier looks pretty once assembled and hung, it does not come pre-wired. You have to wire the whole chandelier from to the arms. There is no ground wire with it! I would not buy this again, too time consuming and the directions are not written in clear English

We love the chandelier and the end product after we put it together and installed it. We had to order two though to get one complete product. There were many missing parts in the first one delivered.

    • Difficult assembly...follow up.

This is actually a very nice fixture when it's assembled. This is extremely difficult to assemble, the biggest problem is the wiring and instructions. To call them instructions is laughable...the wiring is allegedly marked to differentiate between line and neutral...I could not finish the installation today because it's impossible to tell which wire is which. Going to have to find/buy a powerful magnifying glass to try to determine how to do the wiring of the light arms. I would've rated the assembly 0 but ratings don't go that low. It's a very nice fixture but you better have the patience of Job to get thru assembly. Update: I was contacted by the company and they have taken my comments under advisement and are working to improve the product to make assembly easier. The fixture is quite beautiful when assembled and my wife absolutely loves it. I would now rate it at 5 stars once the wiring is better labeled. I would highly recommend this product. ... show more

This was easy to assemble and install because we had our handyman do it - ha ha. It took him several hours but didn't seem too difficult. The result was every bit as beautiful as we had hoped. The only thing is that there is not enough wire and chain to swag. It can only hang straight down from the electrical connection in the ceiling. I wish we had known. Home Depot has the same thing, for more money, and we're hoping they will have some way of extending the wire and chain so we can swag it and have it be centered over our dining room table. Its a great chandler once you get it together. The ceiling cap that comes with it is not a chandler cap. To much chrome, to much shine. And it does not cover ceiling fixture. And it does not work on a slanted ceiling. The shaft does not come through the cap straight.You stare at it and not the chandler. We went back on Amazon and bought the one you see pictured. Nickel plated, not s shine, and match the light better. The wires for the individual light legs are not marked L and N as they are in the very poor directions. So, I made sure I matched all the left wires together and all the right wires together so when you wire nut them to the main wires running up through the shaft, all your N are neutral and all your L are hot. Otherwise you will short circuit your fixture. They do not tell you to run the main wires through the shaft either. And the wire nits that come with it to connect the 6 sets of wires to the main wires are not big enough. I had to get bigger ones. If you are not a handi-person or know one , I would not buy this chandler. It will cost to have a so called pro do it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The instructions are not difficult and this was very easy to install/hanf compared to other chandeliers I've hung in my home. Definitely buying another!
