Size: KoiAir 1, Ponds 2,000-8,000 Gallons
Update. In my 5th year using this product !! Still works great. I have this outside in Buffalo NY to provide air circulation during the winter since my waterfall and summertime pumps are off. I covered it with a big plastic tub putting a couple 2” pieces of wood under the tub for airflow. I added ano
ther 10 ft to the weighted hose that came with the pump for a longer run. My pond is 14x6 and 3ft deep. I dropped the aerator in so it sits on a rock a foot from the bottom of the pond, 1ft is recommended. The plate the aerator is mounted to is heavy, that along with the weighted hose is necessary. If these things aren’t weighted the aerator or hose will float, if you’re not buying this product make sure the one you do buy has these features. The pump is quiet, and I had zero problems with install. In Buffalo we just had 4 days below zero, a blizzard and wind chills of 25-35 below zero. My small surface heater froze in surface ice but the bubbles from this thing have keep a nice 2ft diameter hole open in the ice letting that poisonous Nitrogen gas out. I highly recommend this product!

Very powerful Aerator for a 1500 gallon Koi Pond
Size: KoiAir 1, Ponds 2,000-8,000 Gallons
The media could not be loaded. I just finished constructing a new pond four weeks ago and am still getting it cycled. The volume of the pond is approximately 1500 gallons and 3 feet deep. I was going through a pea soup algae bloom and added a UV clarifier which has really cleared up the water in the
last few days. I have now added an aerator. I purchased the CrystalClear KoiAir Mini Water Garden Aerator Kit and received the item on time and within the promised delivery date. The kit consists of the air pump, sinkable air hose and a single diffuser. Installation was very simple and I was up and running within 10 minutes of unboxing. As you can see from the video clip, the kit provides quite a bit of aeration and really agitates the waters surface. I have it located on one end of the pond as the opposite end has the waterfall return. My hope is that the aeration occurs on both sides of the pond with the area in between being the currents formed so we can see the fishes clearly. The pump itself is very quiet and is drowned out by the sound of the water rippling. So it is not that bad at all. The only negative is that the diffuser is not that heavy. It does sink but because of the "strain" on the air hose the diffuser I found that the diffuser wanted to flip over. I used nylon zip ties to secure the diffuser to a small stone and this have kept it upright at the bottom of the pond. So far, after one day of operation, I am pleased. No complaints on the supplier and the operation of the aerator. It is a good purchase and I am very pleased thus far.

Amazing Product / Amazing Service
Size: KoiAir 1, Ponds 2,000-8,000 Gallons
Out of the box this pump is different. It is heavy and solidly built. The weighted tubing is great too. In my haste to put the pump into service, I must have missed a sticker with the serial number on it. When I registered it online, I supplied the model information we had. The company emailed me and
again I thought that was what they needed. I just received a call requesting the serial number. I said I would look again on the housing but would need a few minutes since the pump is now in service at our pond. No problem! They are issuing us a new number and emailing it to us for warranty purposes. Amazing! Now, an additional word about the pump: Not only is it well made, it is whisper quiet! The last air pump we had sounded awful. On a quiet night we could hear it in the bedroom with our windows closed! Do yourself a favor: Don't waste your money on a poorly made pump. This is the best for the money, hands down!

KoiAir Mini review and video.
Size: KoiAir 1, Ponds 2,000-8,000 Gallons
The media could not be loaded. Works well for my size pond. (2500+/- gal) It produces lots of fine bubbles and at the same time causes a nice upwelling effect helping with water circulation. The air pump itself is quiet with a low hum, at one point it vibrated the enclosure I built against the house
which reverberated a little noise inside, but that was easily solved with a few strips of foam door seal. I'll post a video of it.

I have been in the aquarium hobby for over 30 years. I purchased this pump for my koi pond, but now that I have it, I will be purchasing one for my large fish tank. Works great.

It's been 1.5 years and everything is great. I have the very smallest unit for only a 600 gal pond. The summers here in Augusta are brutal and the unit is under a fake rock. My pond is in the full sun all day long and these summers in Georgia are brutal. So I wonder about some of the other reviews. M
aybe I don't have problems since my pond is so small? I haven't had any trouble and it runs 24/7. I run my waterfall with the UV filter during the day, in addition to the aeration. I notice some koi like to sit near the bottom next to the diffuser. I've even considered adding another in the deeper part of the pond, just to keep the water moving more to keep predators confused. Or at least that's what I tell myself. :)

Pump adds beauty and keeps my pond clear in addition to my filter. Helps keep things stirred up and moving. My fish love swimming through the bubbles. Very easy to install and an overall great product. Bought the rock to cover it to protect the pump from weather. Great product.

Defective pump no after satisfaction.
Size: KoiAir 1, Ponds 2,000-8,000 Gallons
We purchased this item around June. Extremely disappointed followed all directions on installation and the pump was defective it lasted a matter of 1 1/2 month. We thought investing in a better pump would last longer and spent 150.00 on this one. We have had smaller pumps last a year. They are making
us jump through hoops for a refund and are finding fault with us so that they don’t have to refund. So right now pond owners for 15 years we are left having to purchase another pump till this gets resolved, we want a refund on defective pump.
